Just mucking out and grooming and fixing him because he's got conjunctivitis. Always getting into scrapes he is. He's a Highland but none of us can properly pronounce his posh horse name, stable name is Louie. We got another one recently called Bailey that my sister is doing some sort of dressage thing today with, but I have little to do with him, he's skittish and actually booted her in the head the other month and I don't have much to do with him as he was bought just before I left for uni. Never liked the things til we got Louie, and now I find it really calming going up there to help out and just chill with him and his mates. You ever get into competitions when you had them or owt or did you just have them for, I dunno, calling them pets sounds weird, but ya know what I mean.

Earthbound, gotta be. I started it a few years ago but never got to far. Really wanna finish it though, it's a classic. Most of the games I wanna play at the moment are almost as old as I am to be honest, am on Dragon Quest 9 at the moment but it's got that old school feel and Chrono Trigger is sat staring at me from my shelf. So glad I bought my DS

Saunton is a nice beach, we just back from Slapton, steep pebble beach, lovely pub and fish and chips...

I can't say I've been in that exact situation but you have mein sympathies. Hell hath no fury like a woman's lawn.

Sounds cool. My auntie's old horse was so skittish he managed to chuck her off and broke her collar bone, pretty scary stuff. Horses are to be nothing but respected!

I never showed or did serious competitions I just liked to go out hacking and jumping. You?
 
Oof, nasty. One of the lasses at our old yard had a similar thing happen, they can be bloody dangerous when they want to be. Defo got to be respected, aye!

I don't do much bar the maintenance side, though I used to ride as a kid and still do sometimes when my sis is around and isn't too busy to supervise me. They're technically her horses but it's a family effort. I used to be pretty good at jumping as a young lass but now I shit myself just walking round the ring. It is one of my aims to learn to ride properly again though, as we've got miles of beautiful countryside and tracks and I reckon going out on hacks round there would be a great way to chill out. Sis is the one that does the comps, was at Horse of the Year last year, dunno how she did though but her bedroom is fucking plastered with rosettes and trophies. Proud of her but wouldn't say so ;)

Jumping is so much fun, can't wait to start again. Shouldn't be long now until I win the lottery that I don't ever buy tickets for..
