I scream like a girl when flying daddy long legs (I believe they're male mosquitoes...?) are in my immediate vicinity. Flying spiders. Why the fuck did nature have to invent flying spiders?

Anyone seeing more bees this summer or are they still declining in population and we're all doomed?

The daddy long legs are a crane fly - (not the same as mosquitoes but do look similar).

lo no i want going quite that far, just that the right balance hasnt been stuck IMO. However, I could probably run you through the [TRIGGERING] bulletpoints...

My basic thesis is [TRIGGERING] dead simple. Essentially life in general is triggering and if anybody is so very delicate they need to be warned in advance of anything that could possibly "trigger" them (whatever the fuck that's supposed to mean) they need to be in inpatient care pure and simple. And I in no way mean that as a slight or insult cos I've been there many times myself too. Is just the way it is. There's no possible way to actually avoid stuff that "triggers" whatever it is anybody feels they need to avoid. Is literally impossible. Not to mention deeply, deeply undesirable.

This is a drug forum - where drugs are discussed. How many people here have drug issues which could be "triggered" by virtually every thread on the site? The MDPV thread is probably the single most "triggering" thread on all of BL. Should that have big , ugly, pointless warnings slapped all over it? Or any and all threads relating to heroin? Or coke/crack? Alcohol? Physical abuse? Sexual abuse? Self-harm? Suicide? Death in general? I really could go on. An on. And on. And on... Anything and everything could potentially "trigger" somebody if they are that fragile at that particular moment.

Am well aware of how harsh it may sound to some but I truly do believe that if anybody is genuinely in such a state when even seeing a word - let alone viddy a picture - could "trigger" them to do a Bad Thing then their issues currently run waaaaaaaaaay too deep for non-professionals to even begin to deal with. And that really is not meant insulting cos I can assure anyone who thinks otherwise that I have "issues" sprouting from every orifice and oozing from every pore. There are times when I practiced wot I just preached. Cos I knew damn well I was not in a state where I could cope with the kinda stuff I'd find on BL... or on the intrawebz in general. Or television. Or possibly in casual conversation for that matter.

Real life is not censored in basic form. Unfortunately it is in less basic form. Fuck censorship.

Confused fuck out of me all that trigger stuff last night, thought we'd got an Only Fools n Horses thing going for a moment.

Alright today people? I'm sort of bored but content. Had a ride out to the vets with Mum cos cripple horse has crippled itself again and then decided it is far far too hot to be outside so I'm chillin in my room, sun doesn't get round here while mid evening. Which is even worse, I guess, but can't complain too much.

Got the housework done so it's a few etiz and snuggling in a blanket with my DS or a book (blatantly the DS, though I do need to get going on my textbooks soon) and a film on for me Killing the time til Mrs Snolly gets home (five days and counting) so I can fuck off out of here and move in with her for the summer while I find my own place. Did not realise buying is so long and soul destroying.

Just managed to get burned a little bit :/ Thought I'd get out the house. Sisters boyfriend just dumped her so she was obviously pretty upset as they had been going out for a few years. She was playing her music well loud and given how shitty I feel I just went to a near by park and chilled out listening to some music. 300mg of pregabalin and some sun cheered me up a bit.

Got back home to find shes gone to Bournemouth to stay with a uni mate for a while to get away from it all. Fair enough I guess. A quieter house is fine by me. Going to take it easy this weekend. Just cracked open a K cider. My recently departed mate would be proud
