Gibberings CXXXIX : Did Ye Aye?

Poured 2ml of gbl down my hole, so now i'll get 2 hours of sleep followed by 8 hours of sweating and shaking and confusion and all other lovely gbl wd symptoms that i know and love. Maybe the ringing in my ears will drown out the fucking racket she's making.

Awake again now. Got an hour more sleep than i expected from the g, thank you g. She's still snoring but it no longer sounds like ghost rape, just normal snores.

Not many tips, i'm afraid. It depends why you snore. Some people can completely fix it with a little nose clip thing. Another friend swears by taping his mouth shut (with medical tape stuff, not Selotape :) ). I bought a horrible tasting spray that worked, but i only used it when i was staying in hostels, wouldn't want to do it all the time. With me and my ex the answer was unfortunately "have a decent spare bedroom" so he had somewhere to retreat to if it was just too bad.

I wish I'd handled this differently. I'm treating my mum to a holiday to say thankyou for all the help she gave me moving house. I'd gone through some fairly nasty g w/d in the few days previous to this as i obviously don't want to be on it while she's around. So now tomorrow, when we head off, i'm going to be a bit unwell again. I ahiuld have woken her up and asked her ti sleep downstairs -- she wouldn't have minded if i'd been polite about it. Even if she was a bit irked, it still would have been preferable to opening a can of gbl whoopass on myself. I shouldn't hsve gotten so stressed about it, since I'm capable of functioning ok on very little sleep. Oh well, easy in hindsight now the noise has calmed down.

awake early myself due to bloody annoying crows outside my window again. Nothing to look forward to this week except arranging a viewing for a flat today, sending off my student funding forms, and possibly getting my driving license back. (gonna take months but at least I've started the process).

and then...WORK WORK WORK.

I'm starting to enjoy getting up slightly early though, gives me an hour of peace and tranquility and multiple coffees to get over the 'DO NOT TALK TO ME OR EVEN LOOK AT ME' state I'm usually infirst thing in the mornings.

and at least it's not pouring rain for once.

Snoring is a fucker, me mum and dad both snore like a train and the walls in this house are paper thin. I'm at the opposite end of the house to them and can hear them both. The greatest thing is them both bitching at each other for it :D Each one swears it's the other but it's both.
 
Cheers :) awake again, but i'm quite pleased with getting 7 hours sleep from 2 doses of g. I feel liked shit, but that's what you get for using a completely inappropriate drug to help with sleep.

Before anyone poiunts it out, the failure to sleep and general upsetness was probably 50% gbl wd and 50% mad snorez. It wasn't all her fault. Well, not really her fault at all since it obviously wasn't deliberate on her part. I don't want to ruin our holiday with too much honesty so will probably make up an excuse for how ill i look today. Not food poisoning, since i cooked us dinner last night! Maybe pms, good old pms.

As mondays go, it's still a good one. Good company, great holiday shortly, and no work :) yeh, i redosed, wonder how long my rosey demeanor will last.....

Fucking anxiety still kicking around. Starting to worry it's related to my lack of etizolam but don't think I've had any since mid last week and only been feeling shit since yesterday. Bit hungover though so hopefully that's it and I'll be ok by this eve.
 
I think that a lot of people get quite significant rebound anxiety or insomnia from etiz, so it could well be exacerbated by that. Did you munch quite a few? Might just be hangover though... my hangovers are more and more anxiety-inducing as I age.
 
I always got rebound insomnia from etizolam, would send me to sleep quite nicely for a couple of hours then I'd wake up feeling un-rested every time. Exhaustion is the best way to get to sleep!
 
Gah, so. Fucking.horny :(

We had an overnight stop over in buenos aires and had a wake up call at 5am so we both thought it a good idea at the time to get some sleep. Why do these lounges have free beer on tap at 7am and not some sort of deviant capsule where you can fuck away the time waiting for boarding ?

Think you might be right then, I took 10mg last time I had it, probably Thursday, but had been doing quite a bit on and off for a while with bigger gaps than that. Guess that was my tipping point, maybe. I do find my hangovers are pretty much entirely anxiety based though so been double teamed I think yeah :( Daft.

That cast is fucking awesome wish they'd been around when I broke my hand. State of my arm when they took it off after six weeks 8(

Artery/vein structure style would be great/faint-inducing.

edit: took the cast off; my arm remains.
 
Would be cool if they took the arm off but the cast remained. Like a particularly useless android arm.
