Dance/techno stuff is going down better, more upbeat. When i hit the peak im going for my fave track Delerium - Silence. Awsesome.

EDIT: I'm giving your track a go Dan. Its frozen after 30 seconds though. fuck. try again. I like it a lot, its simillar to Delerium. The type of stuff that Dave Pierce plays. Maybe i should just listen to one of his broadcasts on iplayer.

I don't normally listen to anything on MXE either, I'm too disconnected from the world at full doses, but on lower doses music can be good. Just whatever you like, I've had a good time listening to 90s dance music, actually felt a bit like I was on MDMA.
 
Just had a chinese Theology student knock on my door, i wouldnt normally have let her in, but the 30 mg of mxe made the difference, it was nice to have some company. She was going on about God the Mother and spirituality and stuff, my beliefs follow the scientific model, but im also pagan, as in what makes more sense than to worship the sun, and have free sex lol.....Christianity has done a lot of damage IMO, scaring the shit out of the ignorant peasants in the middle ages and dark ages to keep them in line. Creating guilt where there needn't be any.

i wonder if she knew i was floating away on mxe :)

seriously? Check out lusine - serial hodgepodge (actually that sounds up your street haha) on MXE, in the dark with your eyes closed/headphones or w/e, really good.
 
Would love some of that proper quality MXE. The proper theraputic old stuff. Could drift away for hours on it, listening to chill out beats. Certain ambient music would send me into epiphany territory having the answers to everything haha. Miss those days. You guys are right on the low dose though. Great for a bit of dancing. Works best with a bit of Disco House for me.

having a little think back, a house gathering with people on MXE gets proper weird, i would love to have filmed some of the wild times on that shit. i recall telling people i feel like a retarded piece of spaghetti, that my body is fluid and electric, then prancing around, then fuck knows what happening. other times really deep convos and so loved up and connected

Now they are in colour! The gradients/shadows need some work I think...Not sure how to improve it at the moment. Need to learn the software more.
 
I have just realised that boards of canada are being such cockteases with their fans about releasing their new album is down to one thing. It's not very good.
 
What makes you think it won't be very good? The first reviews are favourable, and the single they released yesterday sounds great.

I swear that when Albion comes in2 gibs of an evening it's like Groundhog Day.

Always something about The Boards of Canada is spoken about , which i ignore as i have no feelings or interest in them . I have heard them many times & they don't seem to work on me .

Is there anything i can do ?

I find it's impossible to win someone over who doesn't like Boards Of Canada...You get them, or you don't. You either feel floods of emotions or a headache.
 
^^ Aye agreed with that. I first listened to them on really potent BC bud and was instantly hooked. Perhaps things would have been different if I hadn't. Have you listened to Tycho? He is in the similar mould to BOC but he has a way more happy vibe!

take mind bending drugs that seems to be how most people manage to enjoy them. Not a huge fan either myself, not sure what people think is so special about them....
