No reason why you guys can't change them :) Once upon a time, I wrote some of them. They've been changed since then. And I don't have a monopoly on knowledge, ya know? ;)



Oh man. I want to give you a big hug right now <3. People have been trying that approach since before I joined BL, and it never works. You cannot force people to read FAQs, most of them just don't. People want to ask questions and have them answered by other people. I'm a reference librarian, I do this for a job - I try to build FAQs and it has very little effect, people still ask me the basic questions. [But don't get downhearted! ;)]

Aye everything is in think tank at the moment. The approach I'm going to have to basic questions is "Read this thread" and that'll be that. If you drum it in after a while things will (hopefully) sort themselves out.

I tried to make it as simple as possible. It leaves room for more advanced questions but the run of the mill newbie will have their questions answered straight away.

Me I think :(. Can't do MDMA because of being on SSRIs. Mephedrone and methylone give me comedowns that last forever. All the coke I can get is shitty. Never liked weed and my tolerance for booze is zero due to SSRIs. I'm practically straight-edge.

Anyone got any suggestions for what I should take? New RCs? More into a mellow MDMA high than a stimulant one, but shortish duration stims are OK.

Not a stimulant but ketamine is amazing. Shouldn't have a problem using it while be on an SSRI but I'd like somebody to validate that. As long as you get the real deal and not tiletamine you'll have buckets of fun.

Acid? I dunno how that interacts with SSRIs right enough. If it doesn't react badly then low (or high %)) dose LSD could be a shout. Depends what you're trying to do though. If it's to go down the pub then it's probably not a great idea.

Edit - What Strutter said - Ket! KETKETKET!!! I find low dose ket to be great for clubbing etc, especially when mixed with coke (even shite coke, but I'd grudge paying the price for 0% ching), fling some other mild stimulant in there (likely whatever they're selling as coke these days) & you're jamming.
 
Heh, thanks ;). Acid could be worth a shot. Only tried K a few times, none of them were amazing. I've had 2-CB and D while on SSRIs, they were good. So was 4-FA.

Thinking sort of chatty party drug or for gigs or clubs, but not something that'd have me still awake at noon the next day. Legal would be good.

:) Last time I was at a barn rave I had to empty my whole ket wrap (what was left in it) on this guy's CD disc full of coke because he wanted to trade and the wrap had split. I holed in the middle of the dancefloor and kept forgetting where I was. Everytime somebody bumped into me I was like.. "Fuck, I'm at a rave!"

Jest, if you're going clubbing/raving on ket do it in bumps off the corner of your card. If you start smashing out lines you might hole and miss the initial buzz. It's alright holing in a dirty barn rave or something but not so much in the middle of a night club :P
 
2cb would be ideal I guess. I hadn't thought of that as I haven't had much luck with it myself (every time I've taken it I've under-dosed, I've got 1 2cb blank sitting here the now but it's well below a decent dose & would just be annoying).


Edit - Aye, don't do lines of K in a club lol. I only ever take little bumps off the end of a card, fucking tiny ones tbh, & it does the job nicely. Then at the after-party you can rack out the slugs.
 
agreed with above, ket is amazing, one of the best fun drug ive ever tried. magical stuff

6-APB, although it does last a long time, but easily ended with a benzo

i have been a member of bluelight since 2001 under old username packman browsed the site since 1999

When i started there was no EDD just the ED section and thats where i posted first.got some good advice there and off erowid.
I remember skydancer jase and IJ were behind the hard work and effort.
Then an absolute all time bl legend now deceased called phreex petitio
ned for the other drugs forum forum for more flexibility.
I outgrew ED quick enough when my knoledge and expierence exceeded what was on offer so i found EDD.
Great result people from my own neck of the woods who were more on the ball.
Edd is widely regarded as the best section of bl by more than just europeans as it has a special social aspect. All that was nearly destroyed in 2006 when an American senior adminstrator called Catch_22 he changed his handle to phd or something after that.
He made an announcement in Edd that he was going to break up Edd.
Make it into two forums because he had recieved 5 complaints. 3 were about modss being inefficient and only 2 from actual edd'ers.
The upshot was that there was too much social chatter and not enough drug talk.
So one section for drugs and one for social chat.he also said it wasnt up for discussion that what was happening.
There was uproar. It turned into a massive civil war almost with mods and admins from all over bl getting involved.
The founder of bl xtcxtc the guy who funded it now deceased weighed in to save EDD. Thank god sanity was restored and Edd was saved.it made me really sad last night reading that old thread so many good bl'ers who posted in that thread are dead now evad and carsick spring to mind rip.

I almost lost my own life a few times due to my alddictions but was saved and helped out by a female bl'er who ewas alo the love of my life so i got a lot out of it

25I-NBOMe. Seriously.

Between a light dose of 4-FA and the visuals of LSD, without the headfuck. Can't recommnd it strongly enough, especially for thise who missed shrooming season, like me.

EDIT: Cheers for that slice of history, acieeed_ed. Fascinating stuff.

It's a shame the current staff are running it into the ground but we try our best. ;)

I wasn't about when this happened. I've heard people mention the old threat of EADD being split into social & drug discussion. Not a chance would it work. A thread can barely stay on topic for more than 5 posts round here, which is a good thing imo.

People are always forgetting the African in European & African Drug Discussion :\

Don't forget the African. I'm sure he's reading.

I read and have read a lot FAQs. There is an audience, even if it's just me. ;) which it isn't. Thing is you never hear from the people who read the FAQs....


edit Drugs have worn off and the phone is still not fixed, drat.

Is there anyone around London 24-26th and fancy a bit of a sesh? I have zero family and even girlfriend commitments (she is with hers back home), which is sweet but it could be a good opportunity for a naughty BL meet up : ) if anyone fancies it anyways...RSVP

Just seen ur post now sam. i wasnt implying that current mods arnt up to speed at all i havnt seen any hassle on edd recently at all.. Ish :-P
Just thought it was worth mentioning that edd and bl has been a great community for years and the work staff put into it is appreciated.
Its all about the P.L.U.R brotha
