Ok you wont get any argument from me there
fact remains that women who enter Morgan Stanley have TWICE the chance of making MD within 6 years as per entrant when you extrapolate it to each employee regardless of gender
There is something wrong with this stat
Women are twice as smart? or guys are half as dumb?
Or as anyone suspects, does it mean women have double the chance of getting promoted at the bank ?
I know which one I think it is
yet they have 99% less of a chance of making CEO
amazing really
[edit] since those are the positions that hold all the power and decision making. So who holds the balance of power really?
and I'm orf to watch Misfits, it just started on E4 ... also peeps shows on now too!

) for the best part of ten years now. Which ain't far off from how long I was using ('bout twelve(ish) years) so should be but a distant memory really. Isn't though. Doesn't take much to get all rosy-tinted about how much better life was then, or about how little different it is now, so what's the point in staying off the gear. There's generally enough actual memories lurking just below the tintyrosy surface memory to decide that on balance junkydom is of fairly limited appeal given the pretty shithouse of a lifestyle that tends to come attached though. I suspect that may be the case for many - if not even most - in such positions
