Gibberings CXLVI: I've Seen Things, I've Seen Them With My Badgers

couldnt get out of bed this morning and was expecting to feel in the bleakest of moods from yesterdays methyolne, somehow im not, came running down the stairs singing a ting tings song. This is probably cos i fucked up my dosing and the high didnt quite take off properlly, it was a frustrating kind of 'almost there' thing. I should have listened to Kate and gone with 250mg. Damn.

I Your a good man Sam, one of the very few people I felt an instant connection with. I need you to be there because your probably the only one that really understands what I'm going through when the shit hits the fan and I'm in the dark and can't see the way out, don't think this is some kind of crude emotional blackmail because I can assure you it is not.

I know things are bleak right now but they will get better, things will change ...they always do. Hang on in there, damage limitation and all that, you've started down a path at least see where it leads you, don't sabotage yourself, we both know how that works.

Thanks Allein. I hope you know by now that the respect is very much mutual, and I'm very much honoured by the fact that somebody who has seen and achieved a lot more than I have would ever take my advice / support on board.

Plus you're one of my favourite BLers ever, so it really counts. Thank you. :)

Sunday ain't it? No drugs here either. I suppose I'd better start remembering what real-life stuff needs to be done. Ah well...

Debating whether having 6mg xannies to cure my hangover for the journey home was a good idea. Starting to feeeel veeeeery lethargic. Not sure this beer I ordered I the bar whilst I wait for my train is such a smart move eithee. Hair of the dog though! At least made it across London so the tricky bit is done, just 3hrs on one train and one bbranch line to negotiate now.

trains, dogs and trees 3 of my favourite things :D

Got some people coming over. Its stig of the dump standard here lol Oh well! At least the fleas seem to have gone ( that would have been embarrassing if they woke up with bites). Fleas probably had quite enough of my fine bouquet.

Go now fleas to serve and be a living sacrifice to the insect land. :D

afternoon, tossers.

I for one have always considered you a cunt of the highest order, I'm a little concerned that that hasn't been clear, I shall make sure I remind you on a more regular basis.

'Concern'......'trust'.......I know you too well to patronise you with information you already know or to lecture on destructive drink and drug use, you know the territory and I know that you still have much more to offer the world, being a cunt is just the start.

I'm making a point of saying and doing things that I feel I need to but wouldn't have done in the past so I'll post this here.

Bollox to anyone that thinks the above is too gushing or sentimental, I've missed too many opportunities to reach out to people in my life already.

You know the drill, no response is required but if you ever need any help from a burnt out has been you know where I am.

Class post Allein. It makes me sad when you put yourself down so harshly though. There are good times still to be had.

I love it when all notes in my "Link's Gold Pouch" (aka. My wallet type thing) smell of Coke...
Well, that was a waste of fingering (buhfwah etc.).

<3 Hope everyone's as well as can be <3

ceres that was surprisingly good for a randomly posted youtube link.

Quite an emotional gibbering thread, today.

As for Shambles VS brimz:

I know Shambles used to munch acid every day as a teenager; that's am impressive start. To be honest it's not a contest. Shambles and Brimz are both drug-taking giants; special in their own drug-munching way.

A real life fight would be more interesting though. Both boys have grown up hard and I imagine used to scrapping. I Remember Shambles's storys of fighting with his brother; apparently he could get impressive ground clearance with a swift kick to the bollocks. Think both of them would be tenacious fuckers in the ring. My moneys on Brimz though.

Where is shambles?

Banksy is spending a month in New York ... lots of good and interesting things happening/generating because of it

These Men Are Now Charging People to Look at Banksy's Latest Stencil

^ The commentary it's generating is decent ... loving it

A group of men has begun charging $5 apiece for photos of the new Banksy piece in East New York today, according to the Instagram account streetartjamz. This development is the most compelling thing about Banksy's latest work, which before had just been a stencil painting of a beaver gnawing on a felled parking sign.

These men, heroes that they are, have elevated the original work, turning it into a performance piece about the commodification and hipster-fication of people's homes. If you're going to treat a neighborhood like an art museum, why shouldn't the residents of that neighborhood charge admission like an art museum, particularly when many New Yorkers would never come to that patch of the city but to take a picture of a stencil painting of a beaver?

Update: A woman who claims to work in East New York went to survey the scene above and gave a report to Gothamist. She says the men are charging $20, not $5.

They have been guarding it for a while drinking heavily, so who knows. They are pretty angry about how many white people are coming here. Side note, I have some cred here because I work close to that spot. The general feeling is that nobody cares about this neighborhood and now that they have something of value they should benefit. Omar's name came up several times and they are not going to allow anyone to deface it. They didn't charge me because one guy has seen me around. They reported that several yellow cabs have pulled up with people wanting to get a look. They are firm about the $20 fee and tried to warn me when I left about the crews from the area projects robbing people who look like they don't belong. They wouldn't let me take a picture, but were happy to let me take a nice long look while blocking some others who had not paid.
