^ Fucking hell. Why is that a thing?

We need an instant chat thing like on FB, so we can sort out spats directly and not litter the Gibberings forum with drama or maybe a dedicated thread like "The Hate Thread", where people can go and play handbags

Is that not what this thread is for? By all means shut down arguments in the Regional Ecto Thread or the I'm A Bit Mental Thread but if you can't call each other cunts in Gibberings then the whole game's a bogey.

Very bored at work! Stumbled across this anyway, guy receives email from Nigerian scammer trying to get money from the "Pakistan Earthquake", anyway after a few emails (guy is pretending hes from a church) he convinces the scammer to become a part of his church so he can send him some donation money.

Nigerian scammer ends up getting some daft tattoo, pictures included... Anyway..:D

=D

There's one on there that I saw years ago where the dude pretends to work for a Hollywood stunt agency and gets the Nigerian boys to record a stunt video. Jumping off roofs, getting ran over by cars etc.

yep, pissed off that im having steak tonight now :! lol

i saw it reviewed some time ago online when it was in the middle east (?!) and was praying it would land here, the hot dog crust gave me hope...and now my dreams have come true :D

first to try it gets a massive gold star!

Anyone here relatively competent at plumbing? Just connected up a washing machine, all works okay except when it finished a test wash and drained, it worked ompletely fine except the drain pipe just stops at the other side of my kitchen, so all the water spilt out onto the floor. Am i meant to cap the drain pipe end? Or is there some missing. Sink works fine and i havnt a clue about this kinda stuff. Wahing machine is fine, just some of kitchen pipe seems to be missing or something Can take a picture if needed.
Any help would be greatly appreciated :)

the washing machine outlet pipe should be connected to the sink outlet pipe. Simples. If your sink doesnt leak when it drains, then neither should the washing machhine. You might need to insert another T shaped plastic bit of pipe in the sink drain pipe, you just then stick washing machine drain pipe in the T bit, which will be an upside down T, if that makes any sense.

I'll do a pic of my set up later when im back from my evening class if that'll be any help.

Fuckin formatting was lsot wehen i posted but the v II s should be on top of the II

Cheers, the openn pipe is across the kitchen, this is what the back connections bit of the washing machine looks like:

Bottom one is the drain pipe, blue is water. The black pipe above it is i think the sink drain, and the white one at the top of the T looks to go into the boiler, so the only place to stick the drain flow is where it is. I'm guessing the previous tennants had the pipes redone or summat

Cant get to right under my sink cause its boarded off and actually looks presentable, will i have to remove the boards? Or is there a way just to block the drain pipe where its unconnected in the 1st pic. I think that's the only problem.

Thanks again, need all the help i can get :)

Would simply blocking the open end of the drain pipe not work? I think it connects to some kinda drainage thing on the other end, wanna do this with as little work as possible ;)

&The top 2 copper and hot & cold, the bottom is def a drain pipe, or was once anyways

I'm confused, is the washing machine discharge pipe just chucking outy onto the floor?

The pipes look fine. To me the bottom 3 are water and CH. The top ones taking the drip from the condensing boiler into the fat one (part black) which is your water waste. So you need to connect your discharge hose to that, or just rest it in the sink if you can't be arsed.

I think I understand a bit better having read back. Is that discharge pipe hooked up to the bottom pipe that pisses out into the kitchen? Maybe the previous tenents had it chucking out into a bucket or something, cos that pipe doesn't look like waste. You've already identified the sink waste, the one with the black section, like mbd said, thats the one you need to connect to.

As long as you take a diagram and diameters a plumb shop will sell you the clunk clip bits you need to connect everything up, at worst you may need to cut a bit of pipe to length but nothing difficult. Just make sure you turn the water off at the stop cock and drain the system down before you start pulling it all apart.

I'd be inclined to leave that set up well alone, drill a hole through to under the sink, pass the discharge hose through and have all the washing machine connections under there.

That bottom pipe is a bit of a mystery, before capping it and sending all the washing machine water down it I'd want to find out where its going. It might be a viable solution but that looks a very narrow diameter pipe.

My retardation is lifting i think, Do i just connect the waste thing to the bit covered in black tape under my sink?

Cant believe that's just clicked, thanks for bearing with me my brain aint fully functional.

Wait, is that what i need to do?
