Any gibberer's thoughts on Pontifex? funnily enough I had an inkling that something like this would happen, as he was so unpredictable. Very disturbed guy. Do we have any more details on the case?

I never really spoke much to Pontifex but I enjoyed his posts. I was a bit jealous of his lifestyle as it sounded great.
A model wife and travelling around to different countries sounds great when you are stuck on the dole with nothing to look forward to each day.
His friends death really did have a big effect on him from what he would say in his posts and I think he was really struggling to get over it.
That's just my personal impression of him but as I said I didn't know him to speak to.
Always sad to lose another Bluelighter.

Yes. In full rant mode; he would boast very much of his graduation, model wife and pot of money...

Underneath he was very unhappy though. It just goes to show how shallow material wealth is.

Agreed,I hate being clean shaven. I have like a facial clipper which allows you to set the length of your stubble so I just set it so when I use it I'm left with about a day or twos growth but it's neat & tidy.

I might actually do it for a laugh. I sometimes get yobs calling me a "fucking poof" anyway, that doesnt bother me in the least, its probably just cos ive got glasses and am quite thin or something. Ive never tried to grow just a tache, i once accidentally ended up with a chin beard that made me look like john hurt through trying to shave looking through a steamed up mirror and running out of time before having to leave for work. I actually liked that beard, it made me look distnguished and intelligent even if i say so myself, but it did put ten years on me as it grows white :( and attracted far too much attention and comments from work colleagues. The shape of it was a pure fluke and ive never been able to recapture it. 8(
