- you are an aperture thru which the universe is looking at and exploring itself. Through our eyes the universe is perceiving itself. Through our ears the universe is listening to its harmonies. We are the witnesses thru which the universe becomes conscious of its glory of its magnificance.

Alan Watts

Cheers my lovely, nah havent looked into it. the ideas of zen, buddism stuff appeals to me

Good man =D

Yeah im embracing other religions too atm. But Christ will always be my anchor. When im holding on to Him there is no fear, good or bad, attachments or desires.. just absoluteness,

"..."The undoubted mystical and religious intent of most users of the psychedelics, even if some of these substances should be proved injurious to physical health, requires that their free and responsible use be exempt from legal restraint in any republic that maintains a constitutional separation of church and state. To the extent that mystical experience conforms with the tradition of genuine religious involvement, and to the extent that psychedelics induce that experience, users are entitled to some constitutional protection. Also, to the extent that research in the psychology of religion can utilize such drugs, students of the human mind must be free to use them. Under present laws, I, as an experienced student of the psychology of religion, can no longer pursue research in the field. This is a barbarous restriction of spiritual and intellectual freedom, suggesting that the legal system of the United States is, after all, in tacit alliance with the monarchical theory of the universe, and will, therefore, prohibit and persecute religious ideas and practices based on an organic and unitary vision of the universe"

"f you see yourself in the correct way, you are all as much extraordinary phenomenon of nature as trees, clouds, the patterns in running water, the flickering of fire, the arrangement of the stars, and the form of a galaxy. You are all just like that” ~Alan Watts...

Hmm..right now* I believe there is a Royal God head and He/She is a trinity. But I also think everyone is invited to reflect that image. In fact it is the truth of who we are. Everyone gets to wear a crown and no one is excluded. No one is persecuted. ( lol unless they want to play persecution :) )

*subject to change.

You want deep? Try Uncle Al:

The Universe is the Practical Joke of the General at the Expense of the Particular, quoth FRATER PERDURABO, and laughed.

But those disciples nearest to him wept, seeing the Universal Sorrow.

Those next to them laughed, seeing the Universal Joke.

Below these certain disciples wept.

Then certain laughed.

Others next wept.

Others next laughed.

Next others wept.

Next others laughed.

Last came those that wept because they could not see the Joke, and those that laughed lest they should be thought not to see the Joke, and thought it safe to act like FRATER PERDURABO.

But though FRATER PERDURABO laughed openly, He also at the same time wept secretly; and in Himself He neither laughed nor wept.

Nor did He mean what He said.

The Killing Joke. Right there. Crowley was really something.

No, it's shite, but I watch it, sometimes, here is some rant about some of the shows/adverts that are always on...

Send me your damn unwanted, damaged or mismatched gold jewelry (too many adverts asking for GOLD. It's like MOONPIG style mass brainwashing, but at least that has a lunar dwelling space pig in it. They pay 18% the current price of the gold, FACT. Taking advantage of the poor, and oblivious.

And Ocean finance can consolidate my loans/debts sure... but I'll be dead likely before I can replay their 'one, easy, simple monthly repayment'.

I don't want to sue you if i trip over, this isn't America, not just yet anyway. If I fall over a pavement curb or off a ladder I hope I learn a lesson without blaming someone else.

Actually, thinking about it, I'd like some money. Might as well rape the council of some cash and deprive a few school children and hospital patients etc. I might find a dodgy looking public pavement tile that sticks up a bit, and stage an epic fall...

Then I'd need a REAL lawyer. Not one of those fake ones. who don't clarify their realness. Would pick a company with 4U 'txt speak' in the name as well, that sounds professional. Injury lawyers 4 u. They're real layers... as long as they are 'Real'. And 100% compensation!? No win no fee? Nothing to lose!

Foxy bingo fox isn't a real fox either, and his drumming skills are shit compared to the gorilla, AND he is pretty fucking crude in his secret bingo ball lingo, basically talking about having his way with a naughty 40 and abusing 2 fat ladies. Him and that think pink bingo pool jumping bitch need to have it out, and settle once and for all who sponsors that joke of a show: Jeremy Kyle. which by the way is like a modern day freak show. Lets all point and laugh at those poor, pregnant, alcoholic, wife beating, benefit scrounging, baby spewing, chav looking, lie detector failing, ass clowns. Feel better about yourself, watch JK!

They only go on there because they are paid a few hundred for appearing on stage for 20mins of being humiliated in front of mostly a similar sort of audience watching the show. I might make something up and get on the show for the money. I'd want to hear "Let's get Graham on the show everybody!" too. So I'd need a good story, actual help from someone who knows their stuff. Graham is the brains. Step down Jessa and let Graham run things.

Judge Judy is brutal as well. Scary bitch! hillbilly/hick American ass kicked to the curb. I wouldn't want to upset her. THIS IS HER COURTROOM! Suing family members is fun to watch, or is it just depressing? Depends on my mood.

I'd go on coach trip as well. I'd plan to make it as far as Amsterdam then go awol.

And no, a dog will not write to me and send me photos if i sponsor him/her. If It could, I'd adopt for real, as in, own it, and make a fortune on Britain's got talent.

Well glad I got that off my chest, at 5 in the morning.

''there is nothing either good or bad, but thinking makes it so''

Never thought I find myself quoting Shakespeare on bluelight, but what the hell. Interesting stuff about altruism. One of my top all time thinkers is Robert Trivers, who, amongst other things, produced the first solid evolutionary model for altruism in non related individuals. I won't go on a mission outlining his model as my own take is so influenced by what he came up with in the early 70's that I couldn't avoid communicating his idea's even if i wanted to. Anyway, for me a massive thing that is central to thinking on altruism is the in-group, out-group concept. I think there are hardly any people who behave selfishly across the board. Just by analysing our language we can appreciate that the name we give to a collective of apparently overtly selfish individuals, ie "gang", literally means a tight group. Whether you think an individual is selfish or not probably comes down to your relationship to that person.

Don't get me wrong, I think a selfish act is a selfish act. Nice one on whoever introduced buddhism to the discussion. I got into reading buddhist literature about ten years ago and I'm sure its made me more altruistic. By focussing so much on improving my acceptance I feel i am much better at telling myself the truth when acting selfishly, something that can be hard to do when the selfish act is towards someone who is not in my circle. The objective truth is that it there are many people at work etc... who helping out has actually impeded me in the past. I don't know if anyone else has had the same experience as me but I actually went through a good year long period when I seriously contemplated reversing some of my new found altruistic tendencies. This was after I got burned by a significant portion of the people i had been consciously attempting to be fair towards, ultimately ending up with me losing the job i had at the time. It was shit hole anyway so no long term regrets on that front. Ha.

Anyway, fortunately I didn't end up going on a selfishness spree, however my experiences really rammed home the extend to which most people live out what verges on two almost totally unrelated selves. One is selfish and rings true to outsiders, the other is generous but is reserved only for friends and family. Acting fairly towards all people irrespective of their relationship to you is not only fucking hard to achieve in the first place (propably impossible in reality but anything in that direction verges on a miracle in my view) but, if it is achieved, goes against the grain so strongly that you rapidly get a birds eye view as to how we manage to fuck up so hard as a human race.

Buddhism? Dreary wog* metaphysics. Cynical-as-fuck, but especially appealing to guilty honkies, who deserve the dead end they'll inevitably encounter.

Everything is not sorrow.

All existence is pure joy. Even misery.

*If you report me, you're reporting me for irony.

'unsatisfactory' Buddha said. Samsara is dukkHa.

I agree reality is pure joy though. That is release from dukkha ( unsatisfactoryness). Inpartial Love.

Kiss a tramp. mmm tramps,
