Yes I just looked on the back of the DVD and her name is there. Reading the story line on the cover makes it sound more interesting than I first thought.
I thought it was just gonna be all about girls in bikinis & no real story but this is about girls who hold up a restaurant to fund their trip to Florida and then getting mixed up with some drug dealer.
About to watch it now so will see what it is like.

Wasn't aimed at you in particular. Just referring to the fact that people are so wholeheartedly defending someone for a pretty indefensible thing, that they didn't even try and defend themselves, purely because they constantly paint this (imo false) picture of being an utterly helpless victim.

Monsta did a cunty thing. It happens. People are cunts and they pull cunt moves at times. I don't think he should be demonised or banished for it. He says he's sorry, the majority of us who actually have nothing to do with this can move on, who gives that much of a fuck? But I also don't think Chinup should be taking pelters for daring to mention that someone did something out of order to her. Regardless of her motivation for doing so.

In a way it's coming across (& I know people don't mean this) as though it's fine to steal from someone but it's a fucking disgrace to tell people that someone stole from you. Or really what's happening is "We like Monsta so Monsta's OK. We don't like Chinup so fuck you Chinup"

Fear & Loathing On The Campaign Trail would have been incredible to read in context. Like, at the time as it was happening and with a full understanding of who/what he's talking about. I found large bits of it pretty heavy going due to not having the slightest scooby what he was on about as I don't know a great deal regarding who's who in American politics in the '70s.
