I've only smelt weed, meph and speed in packets...other people I know recieve drugs, but can't be sure what....

I've never stolen any item of mail.
hed
If an unscrupulous postman was at work, he would pick recorded delivery items to steal, as they can't be traced back to the postie. Special delivery items would never be touched. Take that as a tip, even though I'm obviously not telling people how to get contraband delivered.

Oooh, a subject I can jump in on.

In my line of work, most of my queries are undelivered RM items. A sizeable amount, but a tiny speck, compared to the overall carriers combined.

Wasn't really talking about you atm, and I'm not really sure if the "fucktard"/mental health issues thing is a dig at me...? If so it's gone over my head...

And while I do sympathize with you guys having to take a lot of shit from non-mods, well, you knew what you were signing up for when you applied. But I do think mods can and do go on power-trips occasionally and it just jars with the spirit of a drug forum. I've been a mod too (on another, completely unrelated board) and have done the same. I mean we're all human.

You don't need to take my comment personally btw, my real "peeve" is that rockstar got banned for ripping people off, DS_ does exactly the same thing, everybody knows about it, but he gets off scot-free. Where's the fairness in that?

Both instances were fairly recent and different users, neither of them you. No one is perfect so I'd go with what you're saying, it's not always easy when someone is giving you flack and you have the infraction button to hand. But in truth such penalties would just get reversed when they are reviewed, it is a pretty tight ship TBH.

As far as such activities, action can't be taken about such things without some tangible evidence and rightly so. background work on such things is carried out but a single forwarded PM would often be enough to take action but they are rarely received, I understand why but we can't go adding penalties and temp bans or more to peoples profile on a hunch, that really would be power crazed.

doesAmazon deliver weed, meph and speed now 8o

Rm are pretty reliable compared to most other carriers. Amazon are using our Tracked service a lot now, which is almost as safe as Special delivery. Amazon items get pretty special treatment actually, RM are very keen to keep Amazon happy, about half my packets on any given day are Amazon ones.

I've always been quietly impressed with the obvious discretion on the part of posties throughout the system for having no qualms in delivering packages that stink of weed. Aside from not nicking 'em the fact they get delivered at all and not reported to plod or whatever is pretty damn incredible really. Posties <3

I've never had one successful SD, apart from the one where I caught the postie red carding me, chased him back to his van (at the end of the road) and demanded he hand over the parcels he was 'just keeping dry' in the van.

One year the tracking showed 'card left' but there was no card. Hmmmm...

Normal recorded and first class, on the other hand - fine. Even though many packages rattle like fuck.

okay, drug dealing doesn't happen on BL, so DS isn't going to be banned for something that didnt happen.

Like rockstar wasn't baned for a long time for ripping people off, cos it didn't happen. Ya get me?

rockstar got banned for threatening to publish peoples addresses on a public forum without their permission.

lols on the druggie front.

Aye, as I said, it's a tiny speck with regards to the successful, but most are with RM. Tracked service? I've never seen any item sent specifically via RM by us that has a tracking number. What do you mean by tracked dude?

I had 6 tracked Amazons today. Tracked is used a lot. It's like Special Delivery, but for big corporate customers. Amazon, Lovehoney are the main ones.

That was not all of it at all, I don't think that alone would have lead to any more than an infraction point. It's only the scammers that ever come to light, I'm guessing no one is going to report someone who is doing an honest deal ?

You're just a lzy cunt in the house with your fleshlight ignoring the door though.

I don't believe you haven't had one successful special delivery. I don't believe you've had any go missing.

It's true. Google 'Fallowfield Sorting Office' and you'll see I'm not alone.

My regular posties are sound as fuck and will evn bellow up at windows in order to avoid red-carding. The SD guy's a cock though. :)

Must be office policy to put the idiots on SD.

Tracked to me, means an item is associated with a number, so I can view it's location, incase a customer disputes delivery. I've never seen a RM item with a tracking number?

So lets say for instance, an item goes missing, we'd usually replace, (if it fits criteria which I wont divulge for obvious reasons), and then we'd send an email to the customer within 15 days asking for their response, so we can lodge a claim with RM.

I'd be really interested in how you guys work, do you know the procedure for a claim? Other carriers conduct driver interviews, etc..

Most offices the postie on the delivery takes his/her own SD's. Doubt they'd put the office dunce i charge of specials as offices get massive bollockings from on high for not meeting the SD guarantees.

Wurzels on tonight in ex as well, i wanna get drunk and jig around like a bell-end to some combine tuneage

What would happen to a key of coke wrapped in special amazon bound cardboard, immunity?

Tracked items are tracked all the way from Amazon depot, to our mail centres, to the delivery office, and finally to the postie on the delivery, then tracked once its been delivered. They all have a number associated with them.

I have no idea as to what happens exactly if a tracked item goes missing, as not only am I scrupulously honest, but also uberefficient, so I don't find myself under suspicion ever. I've known people sacked for mislaying specials, and people on warnings for mislaying tracked items.

You might not see the RM tracking numbers Urb, they probably only start being tracked once they are collected by us.

I'm very happy to see gibberings has once again returned to its rightful topic :D
