I remember seeing Tarka the otter film when I was at school but don't think I ever got to read the book.
Not sure why that film has stayed stuck in my head all these years.

The 'Bright Eyes' song has got that sad kind of sound to it as well. Who knew rabbits could make us so emotional especially as we now know they steal packs of Rizla.
All I can remember about the Tarka the otter film is it just showed his daily life and friends and foes he met along the way.

Well I guess the rabbits from Watership Down and Tarka have all passed away now so I'm off to watch the film 'Ill Manors' again.
Good film I thought first time round but deffo not the sort of film you want to watch if you are in need of cheering up.
 
i've never seen wate.rship down. think i'll watch it on a day i need a good cry..thats such hard work when you come off gear the crying at anything business or laughing at anything...all to look forward to

i havent seen bambi either.. the fox and the hound that makes me cry and et...ooh pretty womans on now.. my grannie would watch the telly and see programmes and say to me "why don't you become a nurse/lawyer/teacher you never know who you might meet, a nice man to keep you" we were watching pretty woman, and she's going on about how lovely julia roberts is and what a nice man richard gere is and says "why don't you go on the game, you never know who you might meet"
i'm only joking, but i could imagine it.. i wish i'd taken her advice and actively looked for a man to keep me rather than the daft "oh know, i'll be able to keep myself nonsense" another 30 years. my kids gasped when i told them how long of work i had left...they gasped even more when i told them how long they had before retirement

^^ Would possibly consider a sugar daddy meself, Pink. Would have to be bloody good money considering the awkwardness and discomfort of ther sex though. Women seem far better at pulling such things off with barely a wince. Quite literally, in fact.

That tune wasn't on me lappy collection cos I never got around to d/l'ing it. Has just been re-added to me PooToob collection though now you've reminded me of it. Should probably sign-in to PooToob now and again so I don't keep losing the tunes I bookmark but have a deep aversion to signing in to stuff. Unless it's BL that is. Or vendor sites, perhaps.

Is bloody nippy tonight, eh? Went down t'shops recently and froze my very arse off.

Whistle is moisty. Mostly with Guinness at the mo. Other stuff earlier which probably won't mix too well. Not planning on any benzos yet but may have to give in if I drink too much to sleep. Nowt worse than being a bit too drunk but not quite drunk enough and can't sleep to take the pain away. Well... I imagine there are worse things in the grand scheme but is quite the pisser nonetheless.
 
Yes that feeling spoils the intended feeling. These chilli nuts I'm eating seem to be more enjoyable than tanything else ive had. Spicey !
