Today is a bit rough.

3 valies, and 2 bottles of vintage, while nothing to most of you, made it a bit hard to get up this morning, was 10 mins late to work, loads of mail, icy roads...

I've only delivered about a hour of me walk so far, and had to come home for a bacon, chicken, ceese and ketchup sandwich and a couple of coffees.

Not gonna finish before 2 today :(

Yeah it is December thanx for pointing that out.

It's hard work this time of year for your mob ain't it MM.

I had a few tips about £50 in all . Mainly from OAPs who lived in Council Houses rather than folk that could afford it . You get to know alot by delivering the same route for over a year .
Who the Doctors, Lawyers , Claimants are & much more

It's shit this time of year, but I've been on a decent rural duty most of the last 9 months, know the people well, I'm loking at 300-500 quid tips, and food, drink, chocolates etc, couple of presents for me boy some peope always do thet too...

don't wanna get back out to it today though :( really heavy.

One more cofee, then I'm out there.

Do people really tip the postman in the UK? I thought you were taking the piss. Never heard of it happening, that's quite a bit of money, be handy extra cash for presents.

You could get this for your little one, I don't know whether the little blonde girl is included in the package.

That's really nice that you have the flexibility to do that as a postman though, sounds like a reasonably stress-free job. I've often wondered what it would actually be like.

Malikmokey makes it sound ok he doesn't moan hardly at all.
He has a village route though , they are better than Urban ones . There are thousands of Royal Mail walks out their . Can you imagine going to some of the nasty inner city estates where they have be known to rob the Postman ?
Someone probably on the same money as MM has to do that .:sus:

So it's a hit & miss like but i enjoyed doing it for a little while (18months)

I think I'd love to be a mailman, I like walking around a lot, as Brimz said urban areas would be bad though, if you could choose rural areas all the way, sounds much safer and nicer.

I know it's a fairly grey area when it comes to white-van-men coming to yer gaff to "offer to get rid of those old fridge-freezers for you", but when they then rifle through the skip that you're using to have a clear out.... Fuck that, that's not on.

PLUS this cunt just took a few things out of one of the fridges and left most of it on our lawn, so we'll still have to pay the council to come and remove it safely, while he's jus going to go down the scrap yard and gain cash from it!

I fucking hate chavy cunts like him :!

I really should have gotten his car reg and reported the cunt :|

sounds shit MM

feeling groggy from booze, 6 and a few etiz last night, brain feels like its lagging

Thing is Kenny .

The walks are done on the Seniority which goes on years served . Some guys have alot of it when i was their one guy had over 50 years .

So till you have a fair bit you can't really pick a walk .

I'm guessing in a smaller place like where MM is things would be a little different but i bet it's Seniority for him

Just started getting back into playing guitar. Was tuning up this morning and couldn't work out why it wasn't staying in tune. The fucking soundboard has warped and the bridge had come half off the soundboard, only really being held on by the strings. Don't think I'll be able to fix it (well, it's probably fixable but would cost more than the guitar cost). Boo :(. Time to make Christmas suggestions to my girlfriend I think, at least it was only a £50 guitar.
