Anyone know why my download speed is downloading at 1b/s?? Is it a problem on there end? Im afraid I dont have the time to wait 135465 days and 8 hours.. all youtube vidoes load instantly and webpages etc...

I was with BT but I changed to Virgin a few days ago as BT where so slow and said they couldnt fix the problem, was getting like 300kb/s now with virgin im getting around 500kb/s... hmmm thinking it might be a line problem, the chap on the phone said I should be getting around 8mb/s, only trying to download some pissing software its a right headache.

They might be throttling the port that your torrent client is set to. If that's even possible? atm will likely know better than me.
