10 years since the Bali bombings today, 202 people from over 20 countries died, 27 of them British. The Balinese people are some of the friendliest I've ever met too.
 
I've been wanting to do a full acid mix for a while. I'm not that clued up on acid though. So don't know what to go looking for.

That Cajmere track is an absolute fucking belter init? Perfect to start an acid house mix with. Listening now, it'll keep me going as I can't sleep.

I don't actually care. I was just stating a fact lol. I was wanting some sleep coz I'm getting bored but MM has just supplied me with an hour long acid mix so tha'll amuse me for a bit.

MM, how do you get away with making mixes at night? I recorded one earlier Amsterdamage, it got a bit heavy quite quickly. so I was gonna do Amsterchillage, 120bpm chilled out shit, but cunts were going to bed so I had to turn it down. I can't do it quietly so I gave up :|

I can't get enough of that Levon Vincent track. Started on that - pure deep house - but I was firing into the techno fairly quickly. Ended up at about 130bpm, which isn't ideal for coffee shop chilling lol.
 
The last couple of tracks are more techno than acid, well, the last track at least isn't acid, but just about all the others are. included that 20minute plastikman remix of System 7, sat back and had a drink and a smoke and managed to keep me mitts off the fucking knobs for a change....well, had a twiddle with the flanger and the phaser, but not much...:)

You did an oldskool acid mix crackheed? Suppose wasn't strictly acid if you wanna be a purist....I think thats the mix you took down wasn't it?

Aye, it's my favourite tune at the moment besides that Levon Vincent number (see edit in last post if you didn't already), but I think it might be quite old.

I did an old school mix, wasn't really acid. It was bogging though so I removed it lol.

Just noticed that track (Cajmere) is in the mix I recorded earlier as well haha. I've not listened to it back either, I'll upload it the now though as I've nothing better to do. Forgive me if it's shite, I'm too busy listening to yours to listen back to mine just now.

You'll need to teach me about using effects, I'm pish at it. Just sounds too obvious whenever I touch anything bar the filter or a bit of reverb.
 
Where can I hear this tune that you're talking about?

I love the 6am pints in airports. "Am going on holiday, I'm having a fucking pint even though it is 6am, i'm knackered and not had any sleep or breakfast, HOLIDAY!" I don't think I've ever been on a flight and not been absolutely cunted on booze and blues. A 24hr flight to Aus felt like it took 20 minutes to me. I had a few double whiskies before leaving the house, cheap double rums at the airport and a double dunt of xanax. Was snoozing on the flight from Edi to LDN, didn't realise the flight was delayed on the runway making me late for my connection. Stumbled on to the flight at heathrow as the last person on board then proceeded to neck rum and coke and diaz all the way to Singapore. Few pints in Singy and then some bundy and coke with diaz on the flight to Aus. Was mongoed for days on arrival but the flights felt effortless. :D

On my way home from Thailand earlier this year I don't even remember getting off the flight in Dubai and clearing customs, passport control and boarding the flight to Ggow. Not a fucking clue. Had a 4hr stop over as well. :\

Till Wednesday. Thinking about going to Trouw on Sunday night to see Caribou. Anyone ever seen the cunt doing a DJ set? Is it gonna be worth it?

Just had a cunt of a time trying to get o2 to unblock Bluelight on my phone. Never bothered before because I've always been on holiday with folk, but as I'll be on my own I'll prolly be jumping on here & without wifi I'm fucked. I've not got a credit card that I haven't taken a pair of scissors to & that's the only way I can validate that I'm over 18 (despite having a fucking contract with them for near 10 years!) without going into an o2 shop with ID.
 
I didn't drink or take benzos at all on my way back from the states. I felt much, much better this end for not being drunk and dehydrated.

But the flight was much less bearable, I was stuck between fucking annoying huge cunts (well one was small but fat and had big arms), and to be honest it would have made it much more bearable if I'd been fucked.

I should really have just told the cunts to show a bit of consideration.

I wouldn't have even noticed if I'd loaded up on etizolam.
 
lol crackheed I can't teach you fuck all, you're pretty good at this mixng lark, I'm very much a learner.

I just overuse the effects, I'm trying to rein meself in a bit now...it always sounds too obvious, but not obvious in a really confident "have some of that" kind of way, I think you've either got to be subtle, or just fuckin whack it full round for a couple of beats....

I'm quite happy with this mix :) Stuck some pirate up me arse just before I did it, sometimes pirate works, sometimes its a fucking wobbly eyed disaster...

I have to mix at nght crackheed, partly cs daylight doesn't feel right :) , and because me son just keeps legging it over and doing backspins and "scratching"...lol...and I in an end terrace cottage, very thin walls, so can't play music loud day or night, not at a loud enough volume to mix, so I just do it all through me headphones, and use the cue/master mix knob a LOT.....

Ta for listening anyway...%)
