Dunno wot 'AFR' means ;) but 'ARF' is the same as 'chuckle', 'tee hee', 'ack ack' - or even 'LOL' ... It was often seen in the comics of my youth such as the Beano and Dandy, and is also currently found in my other favourite website b3ta.com..

This would only work if we also changed our econimical systems. As things are, we already need net immigration just to keep our head above water. If we had less kids we'd have to massively increase immigration levels just to stay at the level we are at now (which already requires high levels of immigration). I have no problem with immigration - am quite the fan to be honest - but what you suggest would essentially necessitate high net immigration levels from now on in in order for us to stay (broadly) at our current economic level.

Also worth noting that global population rates are set to level off and hold - quite possibly begin to drop - naturally even as things stand currently. The best way to curb population growth is by funding education - especially education of girls - and to encourage and support women's rights worldwide. This has been shown time and time again. "We" don't need to have less kids, those living in poverty need to be raised from poverty and given the basic necessities of life so they don't feel the need to pop out endless kids in the hope that one or two survive.

Got 6 confirmed so far and one lad who owns a massive 30 roomed £2 million house says we can all stop at his so people don't have to drive...while £2m wouldn't get you much in London, in the north east that sort of money gets you a fucking castle!!! I've stopped at his a couple of times and it's a fucking beautiful house....I even bring my washing round for his lass to do haha!! (well she did offer first :))

Your assuming GDP per capita is directly proportional to population growth. While it is to an extent the relationship isn't linear due to limited natural resources, decreasing economies of scale and also the monetary growth. Net immigration isn't necessarily to maintain current GDP levels by design....it's much more complicated than that.

It is obviously more complicated than I suggest, Englandz. But the general principle is hard to deny. Just look at any country in the world where the birth rate is lower than the death rate. Seriously screws with all kindsa areas of society. Our current economic model is primed for "growth". This can only be met - roughly speaking - by actual growth in all areas - including birth rate. This is one of many reasons why the whole system is fundamentally flawed and unstable.

Fact also remains that most - if not all - of the "Western" world would be utterly screwed without the immigants we exploit to give us the lifestyle we demand at so very far below what it actually costs.
 
We have too many people without enough self respect, fucking whatever comes their way, then comes the spromgs - the houses etc it's a joke. They're given houses. People ought to have more self respect. I include myself in this as i let an asshole, whos now in jail n hopefully dead, emotionally abuse me but nonetheless people should have more self respect than fucking anything that goes, having sprogs off one night stands n letting society pay for their mistake.

This Earth will be poisoned with too much Co2, not enought o2 to breathe because every fkn part of our **** will be dug up n made into houses.

Haha!! Yeah true. There is a very good counter argument based on the diminishing resource model (I was stupid enough to piuck economics as my first degree....Fucking hated it). But i can't be arsed to get into it tonight. To much on my mind. Besides this is gibs not debating economic models.and the pros and cons of net population growth and the fundamental flaws of the monetarist economic model in the west versus the much vaunted keynsian approach.....

Let's talk about building houses on canals instead (ARF!!)...

Hey...I've just had a brilliant idea.....wait for it.......those lovely canal boats with little houses in them...fuck me....why did noone think about that before....I'd live in one definitely :)

After I've had my kw apt n if she hasnt reduced my script will be the last time i go there. Ive benefited nothing from going its a total n utter waste of my time. I need OFF bupe, back exercsing n eventually off the net for good.........

Aye but that meant I had to do a fucking third degree in Paramedic science to do that. Luckily the ambulance service paid for the bulk of that but I still had to contribute £300 a month out if my meager wages.

I'm done with studying.....although I did just apply for a part time course to learn TIG welding.... Totally irrelevant but though it might be useful....providing in still alive in a years time (looking increasing unlikely) I wouldn't mind quitting The ambulance service and
and going offshore and making some propper money for a change
