I PMd her the other day n told her to take it with a pinch of salt. People are not happy unless they've something to moan over. Far better to see people having a laugh n making banter than arguing or whatever.

As for the argument put across that this is a drugs site n so where's the drug discussion. My response to that is just because we're drug takers "druggies" doesn't mean we're gna constantlt discuss drugs hence the social threads / forums, which are on prsctically ever drug discussion forum. Also if anyone was to say, go on a mental health site, you'd notice they do not continually discuss their conditions but it's more so like-minded people coming together with mutual understand n thus socialising with one another.

It's no different here. I've tried making some threads that are around drug discussion "druggie journal," codeine addiction, maintenance n after-care of addictiom, how people came to use drugs. But conversation needs to be natural not forced otherwise it just doesn't work.

So I see with EADD at least, it's about mutual drug-takers coming together without the stigma etc as well as general drug-discussion forum. I'm relatively new in comparison to some of you so apologies fir this next statement if it annoys / offends, but it seems to me, that this shift from drug discussion to social+drug discussion happened naturally n gradualky over time. Please feel free to correct me if I have this wrong.

Them's all the version we got, I manage OK with the full version with a bit of zoomin in and out
 
Sadie can you tell us is your android relative new or older model? Most should have multi-touch which allows you to increase it. I use the full version on my iPhone with no problem. It's tricky with typing n zooming that but I just edit my posts until they're right - no one minds that here. If your model doesn't allow multi-touch I don't know what to suggest.

I do suggest that, once you've sorted this, that you favourite the full version page (bookmark) encase your phone is like my annoying phone n keeps reverting back to the mobile version.

warning to you all here if the doctor offers you beta-blockers tell them no ask for anything else nasty nasty little bastards these wasnt even on them a month and the sods soon turned south with their not real drug effects but so real withdrawals and then now the side effects are coming out so ive just dropped them cold as yesterday

May I ask for how long you had been using them without having any other drugs in your system (benzos especially)?

If your answer is 'more than a week', it's a lie, if it's not more than a week, then why are you throwing them away? What 'real drug effects' are you looking for? Be honest?

Why are you getting 'withdrawals'? Are you not taking them as intended? Do you know that abrupt cessation causes these withdrawals?

Your doctor finally 'gives you something' with the potential to help, and you throw it away. To be honest, if you were at my practice I'd have asked you to leave long ago.

I've no idea what Sammy does or doesn't know about Beta blockers, either way that was a bit of an over reaction :\

I was on Propranolol for a while, I found it totally benign in terms of side effects and there was no disernable discontinuation syndrome / withdrawal.

You have to accept that you've been filling yourself up with a shit pile of random RCs for a good while, I'm not saying the Beta Blockers havent triggered some unpleasant reaction but as a general they are considered a pretty safe option with a good profile for side effects etc.
