Gibberings CXCI -- these tarts were made for popping

Just failed driving test. GODDAMMNIT! :!

OUCH!!!!

I passed my car test first time. I failed my first motorbike test on a stupid technicality (ONE thing; despite an otherwise perfect ride), and passed it sloppily the second time, some fucking how. :\ What did you fail on?

I also play housework bingo and if the bit of paper is not pulled out it doesn't get done hahaha I love my list method, housework list, shopping list, my where to get free food lists, love them I even have an argos list I write out in January and plan to get throughout the year

I'm a list man. My entire life is managed by my leather A4 Filofax. Without it, my life would fall apart. Plus Post-it notes and highlighters and colour-coding. :D

This is exactly my story on my car test. I think arbitrary is the word.

Managed to pass both mine first time, both more by luck than anything else, I was one of the first people in the UK to do the Direct Access Motorcycle test. Not sure what they have going on now but I took it on a 500cc bike and the tester tried to follow me in a car so spent most of the etst way out of sight and cpould only give a few instructions via the intercom radio thing, given I managed to fall off the thing abotu 209 ins before the test when I tried to pull away and turn right whilst in neutral I though I did OK :D

The practical test can really be just a matter of luck and maybe a bit of nerve, you just have to book another and keep going although I guess that is bastard expensive

Went past a cyclist on a bend, it was a fairly wide road, but yep, is a no no.

Bastard expensive sums it up well.

Same. My only mistake was to (safely) follow a combine harvester approaching a roundabout at 15 mph, instead of overtaking it. I thought "if I overtake this fucking thing, I'll never see the examiner again". Pedantic prick failed me just for that. My instructor ordered me out of the room as I was handed my fail cert because he suspected I was just about to punch the examiner's lights out.

My second run, with a different instructor and examiner, was a pure sloppy shit show with multiple failed minors, and I somehow passed.

Mumble mumble quotas and vested interests. :|

evening sexy people. How goes it.

Congrats to me, I didn't murder anyone today but I did bite the head off an ignorant git!

Thems the breaks.....

Also, gots me some Sham time! YASSSSS

Larch, sorry bout the test. Better luck next time love

I for one had a pretty good day, being off work was a major plus.

MOT on old moped sorted so me and Mrs A took the old beast out for it's first run in more than 18 months to a local hostelry for luncheon.

No dramas, I didnt crash and we didnt even break down, not even a stop for adjustments

I have to go to Stoke on Trent on the morning for work, gotta be better than a usual day at the office although I suspect I shall end up there later

....I can't help but think of Monty Python every time I see the word 'Larch' :D

Still bad luck on the driving test, my brother took 5 attempts and still can't drive for toffee nearly 30 years later =D

I agree it's freezing

Evey

Freezing? I'm boiling for once despite my room usually being the coldest place in the world.

Only a few days left at uni now and exciting times ahead hopefully so I'm feeling pretty fabulous. Fingers crossed nothing goes wrong.

And this might be one of those ideas that sound good when you're a bit fucked but not so good when you wake up but it's got to happen at some point soon so I'll commit to it now: once this month ends, I am going to be completely sober for a while.

Shouldn't be too hard, wasn't last time and I didn't even have anything good to distract me then. Either way, we'll see how it goes. In the mean time I've got drugs to finish so I better get my nose down ;)

Have a good night fuckfaces xx

Evenin' guys. :)

Currently sat up waiting for the electrician; came home to find just the kitchen without power, the rest of the house is fine. Got half a mind to stick the kettle in the front room.

Aww, my baby Sprout! <3

Know it's the most dickish question ever but did you check your fuses...

Thanks for the condolences folks. I guess the silver lining is I can spend a few more weeks endeavoring to chat up my instructor. Futile, but, fun.

@Allein - Good shout! Never seen that sketch before. :D

Yeah, fuse box is fine, at least as far as my uneducated eyes can see. Also without light in one of the bathrooms, though that could just be the bulb, can't be arsed checking now though.
Had to use a 15 foot extension cord to plug the fridge into the plug socket in the hallway.

Cereal for tea, then!

Hmmmm :\ That doesn't sound good but also sounds like it might be easily fixed. Fingers crossed my lovely <3
