Good morning bitches.

I actually managed to sleep last night so I'm feeling automatically more positive. I was a bit pissed off when I looked out of the window earlier and saw it was fucking raining but even that seems to have stopped so all in all everything is fabulous.

On the subject of phones I've had a Samsung Galaxy S...2? for the last year and a half and haven't had any problems with itapart from the fact that it's almost too big for me to hold one handed (I have very small hands). Free upgrade in Feb next year I think.

Awwwwwwwww! <3

That's so cute that I'm not even going to exploit the massive innuendo potential.

Spot the guy that can't afford a phone

Tramps have smartphones these days, y'know?

I've got a dick, but I don't want to spend time discussing it by the water cooler. If ya dig.

Missing the chance for an innuendo?! Are you feeling alright?

I'm feeling alright. How are you feeling? S'pose I'd better check, hadn't I?*

Today? Work, which I should have taken a day off from. That aside, I've dropped some N-Methyl-4,4-difluoro-Modafinil, which I'm chasing with coffee. Feels pretty grand - not euphoric exactly, but pleasant. Very focused. It also makes the women of Manchester look ten times more attractive than they really are.

*And with that bit of cheap smut, the balance was restored.

I feel much better now. I feel generally fabulous anyway but also slightly like I shouldn't have started drinking so early because it's gone right to my head. LIGHTWEIGHT.

I forgot all about work, after 3 months off from doing anything real life seems very far away. Going back to uni on Sunday though, fuuuck. This is going to be a long weekend (long week even).

If there's a drug that makes Manchester women look attractive I think I better get myself some. Sounds like powerful stuff ;)

I should be doing other things however, so I shall return... at some point.

Manchester has some beautiful women, I'll have you know. It's just that very few of them are originally from Manchester. :D

Good luck with other things. I have to wait for the hierarchy to finish entertaining their guests of honour before I can get on with the bulk of my work. So sadly clocks are being watched.

Been sent to ambulance training centre for the next 8 fucking weeks!!

What's that all about.....I think they're trying to tell me I'm shit (which is probably true) I wanna get back k in me little ambulance and return to picking people with drug and drink related injuries out of the gutter on a Friday and Saturday night!!! :-)

Every training is good, right? Think of it positively. And everything in life happens for a reason this may be interesting. I know it must be frustrating for you - but that's how I try to think of things.

Oh - does anyone know how PTCH is doing? I quite miss him here.

Yeah I was just joking... Its for extra training.they're trying to train paramedics to do .ore medical interventions at the scene to avoid having g to take every single person to hospital...... Takes the strain of a&e and the NHS in general (apparently).

I don't like training though.... Its boring (sometimes).....

Yea they've been trying to take the strain off AnE for ages. When I was working for the LHB they were trying to reduce waiting times n wanting people to use out of hours services instead of AnE so much.

I echo Sammy in having respect for the work you do.

There was a huge report commissioned. this year (Francis, Berwick &keough) on the state of emergency and urgent care in the NHSand tthewhole cconsensus was to get people to use pharmacies, walk in centres, out of hours clinics to take the unsustainable strain off a&e and to give paramedics more training and introduce paramedic practitioners to treat people at home and at the scene to stop having to take everyone to a&e....you'd be surprised at the knock on effects it has not just on a&e but hospital beds in the wards being freed up and even reduced strain on the demand for things like council housing when people leave hospital..

Actually I don't mind cos its 9-5 training which is a bit easier than doing 3 15 hour night shifts in a row...

Also thanks for the kind comments...I love my job though :-)

Don't take things to personal Evey....I'm sure people arnt ignoring you...remember this is just the internet it isn't real life.

While I've talked to some really wonderful people on BL and made some good friends in the real world 99.9% of people on a forum are and will always be complete strangers......try not to take it to heart hun.

Happy Friday everyone, hope your all having a great one.

Happy Friday, you husband-beating drunk. ;)

Having a great one? I haven't had a great one since 2009. I want Armagnac, and possibly attractive, attentive company with a predilection for listening to my brand of solipsistic bullshit for a few hours before paying for the taxi back to theirs and sucking my pecker out of its sorry drunken torpor.

Too much to ask? Guess so.
