Gibberings CLXXVI - We might have hit 100 before one of these dopey fuckers noticed

There is no way that id trust Apple, or any other company for that matter with my fingerprint.. the police have it, i had no choice in the matter though..

not that i can think of a particular use for it but im just sick of cunts collecting every last bit of data on us they can...

They wanted to do something similar at my daughters school, for the fuckin dinners :? Told them to do one as well..

That's an interesting point but unless you back up your iPhone to the iCloud, surely it could not be accessed by Apple. I only back up to my laptop.

I completely understand your point of view though... companies like Apple, Google, Facebook etc. have way too much leeway with the personal information they collect on their users.

The really irritating one was when FB overhauled their privacy settings but set them all back to default i.e. visible to everyone. Bit of a joke that overnight they made lots of information people didn't want shared public.

Why would they need to access your laptop when its live on your phone? Im not saying Apple do that or use your fingerprint as nothing more than an over the top security feature for what is essentially, a phone :?

The data is collected though and could be hacked and used for more nefarious means... ĺ hate apple though so i am biased... ;) and yes, i am paranoid =D

Apple still make the best phones though Coltdan lets be honest. Nobody can say android isn't without it's problems, iPhone's don't crash like that and still run perfectly years later.

I wouldn't call it OTT. It's just much faster & more convenient than typing in a passcode.

I'm quite sure that the intelligence agencies could find a use for it should they happen to acquire your phone. I'm not planning on committing any acts of terrorism though, so I should be safe on that front. =D

Thats not true though is it, loads of people were losing their mind when they updated to the new iOS and it made their phones so slow they were barely useable. Cant roll back to the previous version either? Oh....
