Benzos are a sneaky bastard for that, had it happen a few times. not nice. the first time i was a bit baffled as to what had caused it until i thought back on the frequency of vallies and etiz. low amounts but too frequent
 
Never understood people who get rebound anxiety or depression from one off uses of benzos, but I guess in periods of slightly longer usage it's a case of very mild withdrawal kicking in.

I've been tapering on benzos for about 6 months now and the anxiety/depression is fucking appalling at times.
 
yeah inflo, i also get depressed from one off benzo use. didn't even pick up on it at first/ months. so i try to only fuck around with them when needed

that's why it's important that doctors prescribe these things but lucky we are all professionals hey :p
 
Dr self medication in the house..not even a benzoey person really..she says..just tremendous stoopid amounts over a couple of days post birthday shenanigans and stimmy insanity..followed by backache from hell. 3 xanax and 1 zop since last weepy type post..had a bit coin in hand flipping it trying to decide about an hour ago at one point but enough is enough...<3
edit-if I am honest I take at least one etz or xanax or zop or valium most nights to sleep and have for quite some time..so there is an element of huge denial but the 20 odd in a 24hrish period just stooopid..and still booo noooooooooooo sleep. umm touch of tolerance..deny, deny, deny...8)
 
Lol yeah there's definitely an element of denial=D if you're necking something long actng like diazepam every night you have a full blown habit even if it's only small.
 
The thought of every day use scares me a bit tbh, the shit ive read about benzo w/d is nasty. the rebound insomnia is another bastard with the stuff

I friend i know takes speed. Not everyday she was in a Life threating condition from taking in three times.

What's the cure for feeling grotty because of drugs? Take more of a different type of drug, right? Thought so.

Almost pissed myself because there was a wasp crawling up my window until I realised it was on the other side of the glass. Such a wimp.

What a lovely sunny day though, shame I have to wait in for the food shopping to turn up (like I would've gone out anyway but still...) 8)

This post looks like a total contradiction on the one hand you say you don't get people who suffer rebound anxiety from coming off Benzos then you say that you are suffering the same because....you're coming off benzos:?

Regardless of the chemical issues that such things may cause ( fek i'm no doctor so can't comment) many people start using benzos because of their anxiety and depression, I know to a large extent that's what led me to using obscene amounts of Diaz on a daily basis and making an even bigger arse of myself.

They do offer some relief from those symptoms at least for a time but they certainly do not address the problems at all. I'd go as far as to say that in acute cases of depression the considered and careful use of the right AD is significantly more likely to result in at least partial relief of symptoms, I only base this on my own experience but given the current advice in the UK for providing scrips for benzos medicine seems to back that up.
