I'm not a big fan of saunas. I like getting nude, I like hot showers yet somehow I can sit in a towel around a bunch of sweaty dudes.

Then again if there was snow outside I might change my tune

On the topic of saunas, the day after I scuttled away from my inpatient detox (experimental "treatment" - you'd've scuttled away too... or died trying 8o) the friends I had at the time took me up to possibly one of the most drop dead gorgeous places on this Earth. Brief description would be a waterfall atop a (Welsh so not quite a proper) mountain which features a waterfall emptying into a lake with a jerry-rigged sauna sat beside a mini-jetty (not for boats - very small lake). I saw more floppy cocks and sweaty fannies that eve than I ever expected to see of folks I know. My nadgers probably flopped a bit too but required a towel due to being a pansy.

Of course sauna + ice-cold Welsh mountain lake = heart attack so could but dip to shin-level into the cold stuff. Then nearly collapsed walking back down the cunting thing. Was gorgeous all the same <3

There is a sauna in the woods on the side of a mountain (the Beacons) just a few miles from where I live. Couldn't believe it first time I come across the thing.
 
Would love to give the Japanese hot springs a go. The thought of being submerged in one of them whilst its snowy all around you sounds absolute gorgeous <3

Although have always wondered just how hot them thar hot springs are. They steam a lot... but is generally sub-zero beyond them so they would. Don't do hothot water. Have noted it to be a womanly thing is the hothot bath thing. Yet to meet a woman who's invited me into her bath/shower that doesn't require waiting til it's cooled off some (or just plain dodging the spray in showerish terms). Tried it once. Lasted less than a minute and came out looking like a freshly boiled lobster.

Its just in the other thread you seemed a bit pissed off with a lot of the responses, is all. Im gonna stay up a wee bit longer cos i could really do with a reply to my last post the the Im Fucked thread if its not too much hassle.

As I said in t'other thread, I refuse to be two-faced with people so will often react in one thread to a person differently than I do in another. I see this as consistency cos the alternative is bullshitting people. I prefer to treat folks as adults who can respond to any number of agreements, disagreements, approvals and disapprovals. I'd expect nothing less for myself and would be frankly insulted if that wasn't the case.

If I can't sleep I'll no doubt come back later all... less drunk and filled with contrition, guilt and shame (such is the ethanolic way :|) but have to be up in a couple hours to do stuff so am aiming for bed now. Genuine apologies to anybody who's not so pleased with my approaches. I would remind all I'm actually quite lovely when fuelled with proper drugs :\
