Recovering from last night. Found myself laughing at a leaf earlier and "listening" to music with my earphones not connected to anything so I should probably go to bed soon.

I'm going to be staying away from drink and drugs until the end of the month at least, I have a very important exam coming up so I need to do a bit of cramming. Speaking of which, does anyone know anything about economics? :?
 
It'll be poly-drug abuse for me next weekend. Fuck this off it till the end of the month patter. The weed break is getting fucked out the window as soon as I'm back from work tomorrow (I haven't actually managed a day without something masquerading as a joint), clubbing on Friday will possibly involve a bag of mushrooms and some mephedrone (weird combo but my mate who's idea it was always tends to have these two things for some reason), Saturday DJing at a house party, probably end up sniffing a load of ching that I haven't paid for. Gonna try not to get too wasted on Saturday, but I've got a feeling I might still be out from Friday.

A lot of drink and some random white powder a total stranger gave to me in a pub which I think was coke. Haven't taken coke in about 3 years, it was a pleasant surprise.

Yes I do feel sorry for her also. Despite the abuse thrown at me; I know she has issues and is trying to come off, as she described "3 addictions". Yes it is annoying, but when she's not drunk and emotional, she is very opinionated, has a lot to say and put's a lot of heart into the forum.


Like MDB was annoying in his "phenaz" spell, he turned out to be ok:

I remember that cat thread. I thought MDB was a right insensitive prick; a complete druggie loser. Turns out he's actually a decent bloke, and massive respect for turning himself around.

This is a HARM REDUCTION site, and we do collect a lot of troubled individuals; drug addicts and alcoholism problems. Like MDB in his worst moments, they will inevitably act irrationally - become easily irate and frustrated. It's a part of their problem.

is it REALLY fair to ban them for a month when the issues come out? Shouldn't we be here to help those people? Not exclude them?


There are people who deserve to be banned, like lawence_perkins who attempts to con people out of their money. There are trolls, alt accounts, people who post to stir animosity, even make fake RIP threads to worry the forum. Should we really be giving people with genuine drug problems, the same treatment as these people??
 
When you put it like that Raas I agree with you.. As mad and as disruptive to the forum as Evey can be at times, this place obviously means alot to her.

Id imagine shes pretty upset right now and is going to be a bit lost without being able to come on here. So in that respect I feel sorry for her, she has got to reign in the abuse though and the way she carries on because she could be detering people from using the site who need it just as much.

A months probably a bit harsh but she cant go off at people like that, apart from you Raas, youre fair game ;)

Mods aren't the problem, Evey is. She might have some issues but that doesn't give her to right to abuse people on here and clog every thread up with pointless drama. Its got to the point sometimes where if I see Evey made the last post then I don't even open the thread and I'm sure im not the only one. It also puts off new people joining/getting involved when they see that tedious bullshit all over the forum.

Job well done mods IMO.

Raas, you're right - Eve needs help. Professional help. Much more help than a drug discussion forum can provide her with.

When she continually breaks the rules and causes unnecessary drama, she ruins it for people who can potentially get a lot out of Bluelight. Evey herself might feel she gets a lot out of BL, but she quite evidently needs a different kind of help. If she is suffering from a personality disorder, as has been suggested, no amount of 'understanding' on BL's part will help that. Medical professionals can.

At the end of the day, this forum can only do so much.
