Y'know, the rush from spirits on an empty stomach is more intense and more pleasurable than IV heroin. Fact. At least to my mind, and I think several people would agree. Not that you should be on the piss any more than normal though. That's naughty.

Are there any OTC codeine preparations you can get? Or do they still have that kompot stuff that they used to have during the Eastern Bloc years?

I hope you're doing alright other than lack of drugs. It ain't worth fucking your life up over. Says the guy who fucked his life. ;)

Yeah day long drinking sessions have a special place in my heart... used to do them with one of my friends who would come up to visit - either get a case of beer in & share them until it's time to go out, or go for a pub lunch, have a few pints, back to flat for pre-drinks & then back out again. More often than not we'd just end up just carrying on drinking in the flat & watch 2-3 films.

I generally found I got less inebriated that way... surprising how much you can drink when you pace yourself all day long. :D
 
Same here on the all day drinking.. quite like being nicely pissed through the day now and again. almost a different kinda buzz

It doesn't count as all day drinking unless your first swig comes shortly after the sunlight breaks through your curtains and you need something to stop the shakes.

Anything less is dangerous amateurism.

I would believe that about the intensity of drinking spirits on an empty stomach - if I drink enough vodka I get a lovely tingly full body high and a bit of a nod.

I think they're pretty strict about codeine here too, could probably get 30mg OTC though and do a CWE. They still have Kompot here but I wouldn't really know where to go and the language barrier could be an issue.

And yeah I am doing pretty alright thanks, even without the drugs! I actually can't remember a time when I was this content with my life, it's really the best decision I ever made and it feels like just like a really long holiday.

Author, obviously. By title would just be odd. Though I seem to have been distracted by weed and bakewell tarts.

What sort of physiology are you studying?

I'm a student ffs, and an English student at that. Do you know how many authors were on the booze/coke. Stephen King etc... Plus my lectures only start at 2pm tomorrow (lectures as well, you can easily miss LECTURES... I did last Monday) so an all nighter could be done without too much worry.

Not that I do all nighters, I'm a fucking lightweight but y' know...

I can completely agree that author is the only way to do it. Bakewell tarts sound nice (not right now but...). Did you happen to get them when they were on offer in Sainsburys per chance? I was tempted but too fucked on stims to make it happen unfortunately.
 
I can imagine weed with bakewell tarts would be just as distracting as having ice cream to hand. I once had an even greater distraction by finding that there was a chicken in the bottom of the bowl (pattern) of ice cream whilst noticing there were chickens of sorts all around his parents kitchen. Ah those were the days... around 11 years ago.... strane the things weed will make you notice. :D

I used to organise my books by author & genre... I've got a kindle now so that's not such an issue but having just created some 'collections', I want to find how to organize them alphabetically rather than the newest being at the top. There must be a way but I've yet to suss it out.
 
I could really go for a Bakewell tart right now.... ahhh, fuck... im going to have to go to the shops now, just discovered ive got no milk either and that will not do, no sir.

oooh, Homelands starts tonight, excellent. A brew, possibly a bakewell tart or another of Mr Kiplings offerings and im golden.
