Lol oh the joys of disciplining this child. I've had to take a toy off her for messing around. She's now on the floor having a mega tantrum n doing what I call fake-crying trying desparately to get my sympathy n I'm ignoring her but dying to laugh.

Just remembered it's Froch vs Groves tonight. Feel pretty fucking ratty but definitely well enough to get my arse down the pub to sink a few before going round someone's house to watch the fights.

I have a bit of oxy and some Intas etizolam. My first drugs (other than weed, codeine and DHC) in ages. I was getting pissed off waiting for the postwoman because I wanted to go shopping, but suddenly I no longer really feel motivated to do any shopping. Why d'you think that is?
 
Might stick a few quid on that, who you reckon is gonna win?

Always loved boxing but not properly gotten into it until recently you ever seen any Joe Calzaghe fights? what a legend he is

Practice.

People tend to practice the things they are best at when really you should practice the things you are worst at. Having said that, it's best to do a bit of everything. I usually do some chord work, scales, speed work, skills/strength exercises & a song or two each day.

I seem to be making some headway at the moment having just picked up my guitar again the past couple of months. Probably averaging 1-1.5 hours of practice a day at the moment split between electric & acoustic.

I will have a little go at that Tool song though... doesn't look hard. Always good to try new songs.

Evey dont be soft on the little one. It canbe hard without back up but cruel to be kind etc. I was and am soft on my boy and have paid in many manyways
 
Shit the council want to give me a new central heating n i dont want it n dont how how to refuse. I hate change, have heard right horror stories especially with vulnerable people them not doing job properly. Also i dont want a new kitchen or bathroom. There was a new kitchen here when i mived here in 2009. I paid at least £500 to have my shower installed. Its not cheap, theres installing the electric, the shower, the titles (they wanted all 3 walled tiled in order to give me permission) plus purchasing the shower instead.

I really don't want it plus there'll be all these men in my house for 2 weeks n i wont know what to say.

Sweet Child of Mine is a piece of piss to play on guitar. Loads of fun though for when you want to pretend to be a rock star. Slam the wah pedal on half way into the big solo and let rip with that pentatonic blues filth!
 
Morning all. Surprised how wrong Shambles is about Slash/GnR. Really not a fan of the obvious Paradise City/Sweet Child of Mine stuff.. much prefer the more obscure album tracks.

And yay for Tool. Been hammering them all week.

I think Groves is going to knock him out. The amount of punishment Froch soaked up in the last fight was unreal, he was in zombie mode for a good few rounds and managed to fight through it but no one comes back the same after taking that much punishment. Been a while since I've seen someone take that much of a beating in a fight, that was a career changing beating even though he managed to come through it. I think Groves will knock him out this time. Froch is a great fighter but I think Groves will take it to him again and I don't think Froch has it in him to sooak up that much punishment again. It's clear Groves has the technical ability to stand and box with Froch if he wants to and I think that will give him the confidence to look for the big shot and I just don't think Froch will be able to take that beating again. Having said that, counting out Froch is a very risky thing to do. He has great skill and he's got a great chin, but I reckon that last fight will have changed him, I don't think we'll see the same Froch again.
