Gibberings CLXL -- muuuuuuust haaaaaaave choooooocolaaaaate!

You're not wrong there.

We have these lovely crisps over here that used to be called 'Fives', that always cost 5p. It's been a good few years now since they've changed them to 'High Fives' and charge you 30p, the bastards!

I also miss being safe in the knowledge that, even if I was nearly broke, I could get 8 cans of lager or a bottle of Buckfast for a fiver and still have a good wee night. Now you'd need to buy a bottle of Frosty Jacks and you wouldn't even have enough for a bottle of diluting juice to go with it.

EDIT: Just found this wee graph which demonstrates it: http://www.wine-searcher.com/wine-55323-0001-buckfast-tonic-wine-devon-uk

Don, I'm a classy girl. The drinks I procure only accept fun sized Snickers or reeses peanutbutter cups. Just is. I'm classy like that. Frostys however cannot be purchased by freddo alone.....

Kids are revolting. Where I work the parents let them climb under the counters and bang glass cabinets and just ignore them. I round them up for story time near a till so they shut the f up.

I can assure you my kids don't bahnave like that, although I know the ons you are taking about, We enjoy a meal out now and again but they stay seated unless there is a genuine reason to get up and they eat their food in a decent manner. Even when they were very small it wasnt hard to entertain them whilst waiting, obvious stuff like (quiet) toys, drawing ,eye spy it really isnt hard.

I'm a strong believer that these things are essential skills and not unreasonable discipline, please, thankyou and decent table manners seem pretty basic to me,I'm dismayed at thise that clearly go to a restaurant to have a few drinks and relax whilst there kids disturb everyone else and why do they seem to be the same ones that are forever slapping them and swearing at them as well....I;ll climb off my high horse in a bit

I always thought they had misquoted Jesus in the Gospels, and you have convinced me further!

I bet that's what they were drinking at the last supper.

Totally, that's why the scripture is so jacked up. Talking bushes etc.... We have found the link!!!

Perhaps communion should involve the drinking of a 3 leet and splitting of a kebab. It would certainly drive up dwindling congregation numbers.

i Think Church would start to smell a lot worse. I love and loathe the smell of church ( catholic in my case ) Fond memories in my childhood, not so much as an adult :\

I do believe it certainly would do just that.... There would however would be fewer cars parked on the side of the road on a Sunday. Place was littered with them today.

Please, no one take my jest and cynicism of religion personally. It's my own issue. No offense intended.

There were probably a lot more Catholics at church, today, than usual. I believe today has great reverence for them in relation to the Blessed Mother.

I try to pay my respects to Mary as often as possible %)

morning all, up super early today for some reason, drank 6 cans of beer last night and got rather pleasantly drunk, a feeling i haven't had in ages actually which is the main reason i've cut down on my drinking,

hope everyone is well, <3 panda

Monday's suck. It's warm in bed and cold outside.

I should live in Australia.

I don't know how I missed your post last night.

You are a true gem!!! And from the sounds of it a great parent. I, Myself, took my children out to restaurants often from an early age. I always made sure they behaved but it wasn't that difficult because they were and still are genuinely good, well behaved children. True, I don't always get to see it but I am constantly being told by other parents and teachers how polite they are. These are basic lessons. Being kind and courteous costs nothing.

I also made sure there was no mess left behind when we vacated the restaurants. Mine were never allowed to leave their seats but I understand that children get bored so I always made sure to bring lots of things to keep them occupied. Colouring books, books, small toys etc. We also interacted with our children which through the power of observation I see happens rarely with other parents. :\

If you've never been told before, let me be the first. The people of the service industry thank you!!!! Thank you for being a decent parent <3 I truly mean that xxx
