Gibberings CLXL -- muuuuuuust haaaaaaave choooooocolaaaaate!

Well the herbal nytol and kalms are both based on valerian extracts. I ate a whole bottle of herbal nytol one night and barely blinked :\
 
I have tried the herbal and it's probably a placebo effect that makes me doze off.

Nytol does not have Codeine in it, not in any of its forms.

Like I said :-

The active ingredient is diphenhydramine hydrochloride, an antihistamine that causes sleepiness or drowsiness. Temporary difficulties in getting a good night's sleep can be caused by various problems such as stress, jet lag or personal problems such as bereavement. In sleep problems of this type, Nytol One-A-Night has been shown to help sufferers to fall asleep faster, have a longer and deeper sleep, and to wake up feeling rested in the morning.

They're not bad. They do have an effect, just nothing too extreme.

The diphenhydramine ones are really good too, IMO. To me, they felt very similar to a low dose of etizolam. The promethazine ones are even stronger but usually make me wake up in the small hours with savage RLS.
 
right its taken me hours to slowly build but to my nice place with my benzo today wondering shall i just jump up the dose and get there quicker or will that just add more stress later ?

I think she meant that she took it in combination with codeine. The diphenhydramine would certainly potentiate the codeine, I imagine.

Also - I can't believe potentiate isn't in Firefox's English dictionary. Had me questioning myself there.

I have used diphenhydramine for sleep, on occassion. However, I usually just end up abusing them. That seems strange to many people because the effects aren't physically pleasant in the slightest but the delirium is a very interesting state to me.

For those of us too pussy/sensible for Datura ;)
 
I can't do pharmacys. I went in to try my luck and getting some paracetamol with codeine so I could filter it and she cockblocked me with the effervescent ones so I took that as my sign that I shouldn't try that trick again lol

I was gonna do that too, was in tescos about to get some ans decided they were too expensive for a wee delirium trip.

You lost your nerve! When I lived in Glasgow I had to do the rounds of the chemists because I could only get one box of co-codamol at a time and didn't want to go into the same chemists two days in a row. T'was a pain in the arse because they seemed to be really spread out, compared to my hometown.

They tried giving me the effervescent ones and I just said I couldn't stand the taste. Anyway, they won't say much about Nytol. They'll just ask if it's for you and what other medication you're on.

I don't think you'd like it lol. It's really not very recreational, the body load is horrible, urinary retention and dehydration is pretty bad. Also, I don't know what meds you're on but diphenhydramine has some SSRI effects, so taking a lot of it with many common anti-depressants could be trouble.
 
Nytol was easy peasy to get. I was considering going back and being all hoe I can't swallow this stuff but I did lose my nerve. May try again and see if a second sign stops me in my tracks. Once I'm reunited with a dear friend I imagine I'll not be hunting for something to play with.

On a side note, found a tumblr of men with veiny....instruments creating protruding designs on jeans and boxers etc. It's art of course. I love art :D

I always found it strange how the use of phallic sex toys is accepted and normal. Meanwhile, I get caught shagging a latex fanny and I'm a creep.
 
It's very odd the whole pharmacy-questiony thing... When I was a slouching long-haired teenager and actually looked like a drug pig I never had any trouble buying co-codamol. However, last year when I had a decent job and looked like a respectable citizen, I went into the pharmacy in full beshirted regalia and the lady was all reticent about selling it to me.

The irony is I wasn't even going to abuse it, I was just hungover as fuck and had work in ten minutes...

Heh, when I was in hospital, they asked me what drugs I had abused. I asked, ''Do you really want a list?'', they said aye and I went through. I didn't mention everything, eg saying stimulants, psychedelics, benzos rather than go through them all. When I said codeine they asked if I had been prescribed it and I said no, OTC. They said I couldn't have because I'd be dead with all the paracetamol.

I walked them through the CWE and they were pretty speechless. I thought they definitely would have come across this before, but she obviously hadn't.

She was a real bitch, too, very judgemental. Almost soured my love for beautiful Asian women..almost.

I've also come across quite a few doctors, especially GPs, who don't really seem to know much about pharmacology.

Hah yeah I've come across a judgemental bitch GP before. This one time I had a nasty bout of psychosis and became convinced I was developing schizophrenia on a permanent basis, so when she asked me what drugs I had abused in the past I reeled off a relatively complete list... Uurgh she looked at me like I was filth. Never going back to that doctor again :/. (Needless to say I was fine, all I needed was a lot of lorazepam and a good sleep. Still a pretty shit experience.)
