I certainly know my drug use & smoking was masking some anxiety at University, always best to get on top of these things.

I've haven't tried any SSRIs yet but will probably be starting on some Citalopram next week.

The best advice I have found is that medication will not get to the root of your problem, so you should really try & see if you can do some CBT alongside it.
 
Is there any interactions with other drugs I should know about with SSRIs I should know about.. I know anything with MAOI are a no no, owt else nasty?

This weekend I'll be going ct from opiates but ill be taking diazs, lefexidine possibly small bumps of ket and ibuprofen. Would it be best leaving this new med until next week?

You dont half get through some computers FG, you got shares in PC World or something? Saying that ive destroyed some computers in my time, n plenty of other stuff to :\
 
Tried my first SSRIs in 2013 & earlier this year, and tbh I found it very impressive what they could do with mood.
 
Afternoon EADD!

I've just chilling out in the garden with my child. How's everyone enjoying this lovely weather of ours? Oh dear FG, not good, I spilt wine over my laptop over day n the keyboard got messed again so had to purchase a new keyboard to USB into it. Bloody hell the thing cost £11 - that was the cheapest one. Maplins were charging like forty-odd quid. What a pigging rip off. Well I DID have £300 yesterday I now have f all again. Oh the joys.

I was prescribed them a while ago. Never took them. I'm glad I didn't, because I certainly don't need them or anything similar now and I can imagine I would still be on them if I had started. Turned out it was my life that was making me depressed, not some big bad depression hanging over me and ruining my otherwise happy life. Life improved, mood improved, no need for SSRIs.

Not that I'm saying don't take them. Everyone is different, and everyone's situation is different. If you think they'll help then batter in.

The Bus

On the bus,
There is the usual fuss
On come the prams,
the OAPs, looking like dear little lambs

At the front is the bus driver, sometimes with a miserable face,
On he drives, gracefully or often in such a bloody disgrace,
Everyone, they sit there,
Some moan, some groan, some simply do not care,

Drives and Stops, on people come at each stop,
Whilst sometimes off others hop,
Yes it's the British bus, same whether or cold or in heat,
Get on and hurry up, either falling or sitting into a seat

Most people sit, some feeling grand,
Others too late, they must simply stand
Riding along on the bus, hearing its familiar roar
Knowing won't be the last time, I'll be on this once more

Was supposed to get it on tonight with this girl after a fucking loooong day but she bowed out last minute. Now I'm frustrated and tempted to get some 4fa in me but need to get up fairly early tomorrow :!
