Am an expert in rural isolation.. you're best off just avoiding anywhere that's a tourist destination and pick a village with gorgeous scenery and nothing in it? I'd look on www.airbnb.com for accommodation that's nice and good value.. might be better off getting somewhere where it's the whole cottage for rent though, if you don't want the owners talking at you. And dunno how far you are from the coast, but you'll be surprised how therapeutic a stroll along a deserted beach is. But anyway, good luck, I think it's a great idea. :)

Some ace advice there, Swampy. You've a valud point. Barmouth may happen to have tourists so you may not get the quiet / privacy you want, though a beautiful place. I'd suggest my area near the Fron aqueduct but unfortunately it'll be packed with tourists this time of year.

Ugh blah we're going to hear the world cup non stop for a month. Yawwwwn.
Role on it being over n thank goodness that I'm single n have Sky Plus. No having to argue over TV n still get soaps recorded even though that trash will be constantly on interrupting everything!

oh noes, the "trash" world cup interrupting your soaps?

booo! I think if you can swerve one or two channels you will be alright.

Cheers for the link swampy, some ideal places on there.

Muchos gracias :)

Just preparing the last of my non opiate meds and ill be good to go...

It went well thanks. Ive been putting the doctors off for a long time now. And there was a couple of things I had to get checked out. One being me shitting blood(hence the phantom finger), its probably nothing to worry about, could be inflamation, he gave me medication that I have to stick up there, so now I have to plug, as prescribed by the doctor :) . The other thing being a suspect mole, he had a look, and refered me to a skin specialist to see wether its the big c. Hopefully all should be ok.

Just got out from the doctors, prescribed me some anti depressants which im reluctant to take really as I dont really want to go down that road but im struggling that much, id say lately but its being going on for longer than id like to admit to.

Think my mental health has played a big part of me self medicating with the gear to mask over feelings.. :(

Sertraline 50 mg, anyone have any experience with them??

No experience here, but it seems to be one of the more successful and established of the hundreds of SSRIs out there.

Worth a try at the very least, and if they don't work then be sure to tell yer doc!
