Gibberings CLXIII - Up All Night Shooting Cheese Balls

I've been pondering Kratom most of the day, they dont half make it confusing with blends, extracts, colours of the rainbow etc etc... ive taken some advice on board and to save me going in circles for the next day or so because thats what I tend to do when decisions need to be made.

No im going round in circles as to whether its going to be an LSD night, what to do? My original plans for this evening are cancelled so am at a loose end with a few hundred mics at my disposal.

Ideally id like some K for this evening. Cant have everything though can you.

Im very tempted to save the acid for when I next get some Ket after your description of it Shambles.

I'll of probably fallen asleep before I make a decision :)
 
Um, possibly not. It was a shite pun anyway, so you're forgiven. ;)

And I guess it depends on when you fancy sleeping.. leave it much later and you'll be having quite a late night, Misty.

In my distant, misspent and considerably less HR-orientated yoofdom there was an unwritten rule that anybody who fell asleep at a party was getting dosed with acid. Obviously I'm in no way suggesting it's acceptable behaviour to dose anybody with anything without their knowledge and consent - it absolutely isn't and if I could go back it's one of the things I would do differently knowing and thinking the way I do now. Having said that, it was frikkin hilarious at the time. Under the sleeper's eyelid was the traditional route. Yes it does work and no your eye doesn't start tripping before the rest of you (a particularly bizarre acid myth even by acid myth standards :D). It's really not good for eyes to have bits of cardboard stuck to them though so not recommended. The results were often fairly spectacular though. Sleeping person would awaken very suddenly indeed at some point after the acid kicked in and be almost exactly as confused as you'd expect. Quite probably more confused. Hilarious at the time, really rather wrong in hindsight. Worth a minor anecdote but definitely do not do that at home, kiddies. Hilarious or not, it is both illegal and immoral and I do feel a bit guilty in hindsight. In defence of youthful stupidity, anybody at any of those parties kinda knew what to expect. At least that was the presumption that made it seem okay at the time. That and the reactions anyway.
 
Id imagine that'd be pretty bizzare and confusing, well, more confusing than the normal confusion, more so on a hefty disso dose to...!

Evening all. I'm home after my latest jaunt to hospital / my folks to recuperate. I have a computer again! Not feeling remotely well enough to go to work on Monday but I need to occupy my mind with something, so I'm going to try.

No difficult drug taking decisions for me tonight, everything is off the menu until I feel better, at most it'll be a wee smoke of weed and an early night for me. Maybe a diphenhydramine, which is my newly discovered thing for easing the infernal itching (worse than being in pain sometimes it is), helps a bit with getting to sleep too.
 
Scary stuff on a drugs forum that. Wheres the reckless gone?

Allthough myself and Shambles have taken very different routes to get to where we are now, it seems we are now at a simillar stage of attempting to regain some sort of control. Would you agree with that Mr S. ? (Apart from your abilty to resist substances within arms reach seems to be significantly greater than mine. I currently cant resist that level of temptation.)

I am off for dinner...I have been awake two ish days on the fourfa..felt rough this morning but having had vits, juice, glorious bath and hair taming session..make-up on I genuinely feel fucking great...how odd, Everyone have a great eevning whatever you are up to..

This is how my brain works all the time.. is quite tiring. (Though it's usually "what should I have?" rather than "should I have?")

Would be hard to say really but sounds broadly similar and we're not a million miles apart in age so perhaps there's an element of simply growing up a bit involved *shudders*

(i will emphasise that despite similarity in ages you're definitely still older than me, mind ;))

I think most of my more analytical thought processes tend to come along after a decision has been made and are of most use next time a similar decision comes up. Perhaps not the best way of being given how incredibly bad some of those initial decisions have been and how many times they've come back around with some intervening thought but not to the point of any action being taken so still reacting rather than proacting. I do seem to be getting there though. As mentioned, I really don't know where 'there' is but appears to be better that 'back there' and quite possibly better than 'still here'.
 
Any plans for what you are going to do when you've worked your notice period at work Swampdragon and will then be FREE to do as you wish with the summer coming up too? Perfect timing. Are you gonna go traveling or something? The first few months of unemployment feel absolutely great btw. Like a huge burden has been lifted.

North Wales is notorious for containing grumpy folk. People actually warn you about the pubs for the Snowdon Adventurers. Apparantly they hate tourists and deliberately speak Welsh so they dont have to associate with you. Pathetic imo, they live in such a beautiful area yet dont want to share it with anyone
 
I don't think they speak Welsh specifically to avoid talking to English-speakers - think it's more cos it's their first language in much of rural Wales especially. Doubly so from about the middle of the country upwards. Where I live I hear a lot more Welsh being spoken than English and it's not like they suddenly switch languages when they see English people coming - it's much the same as I speak English despite being quite good at French and German at school. Everybody around me speaks English and it comes natural to me so that is the language I use.

Having said that, there's no doubt that there is also tactical use of Welsh around English-speakers. I got it quite a lot when I first moved here. I'd often be in a shop and hear people speaking Welsh but there is no Welsh word for 'heroin' so I kinda knew who and what was being discussed. I'm sure we'd all do the exact same if we had the opportunity though.

Yep, I have plans galore... moving back in with my parents to save a bit of money, then off sailing for a few months with my parents round Devon/Cornwall way. Then a summer of do-goody volunteering and festivals. Will worry about work in autumn. =D

Sounds awesome. :) Woudlnt it be great to be able to take the entire summer off work every year;)

For the first time in my life i actually have some proper meaningfull goals of my own, that i want and need to achieve (like stopping taking certain substances for example) and am working on practical / pragmatic ways to achieve these goals, it seems that far more practical and pragmatic planning is needed than what i had anticipated previously.
 
Aye, goals are good. I'd really like to be able to take contract jobs.. do a few months of work that pays reasonably well, and then spend the rest of the time doing things/jobs/etc I enjoy. Will see what happens. :sus:
