I have got used to the tinnitus, it comes and goes different sounds, not just the normal whiny-sound.

Haha u crazy fellas doing that =D

Today im good yea, got sum cash + getting a little more here soon from mom, but I AGAIN falled into alcohol. Really I want to stop, but the cravings is too intense, and these benzos I have only take away Wds, they aint givin any euphoria or shite. So its pretty hard to not to drink when got nothing to do :(

How are u today my friend?

Aye you get used to it don't you? I've had it for years and was a bit depressed when they said there was nothing they could do but yeah, can practically ignore it now. Get some weird sounds though; mine's usually ringing but sometimes it'll manifest as a high pitched whine or a sound exactly like a hard drive whirring up. And I know how hard it is to drink when you got now to do, had the same dilemma today. Cravings go tho and the benzos do help if ya careful with them, but you know that right ;)

I am used to it yea. Have not got to a ear doctor to get checked/talk about if I can get it away, guess turnin down the music for long while can help it if im lucky, but naah. I love high&amazing sounding music too much, I will not give that up, never. I get weird sounds and different ones myself, the hard drive whirring up I have also.

It just aint because I got nothing to do I drink, I have been a daily drinker for what 7 years now? It is very hard to let go. But it would help me get out of it if I had something to do + the benzos I have take the wds. But got nothing to do. today I end up drinkin waaay to much it seems. Oh well.

Stims will do that if you take them too often. Especially amphetamine, though coke's pretty vicious too.

Try and nip it in the bud now before irritability turns to rampant paranoia and psychosis, which is almost inevitably the next step.
^This, Dan. Please listen to Sam, he talks sense.

Work is looking for an Ops Manager, £30,500 starting salary. My name's been put forward, just waiting for details. I feel a little out of my depth, but the departing manager says he thinks I should definitely give it a shot due to the fact that I basically ran the floor throughout the Christmas period anyway.

Eek! That would mean a 10k p/a pay rise if I got the position.

Saw this on the news this morning. A woman who has been deaf her entire life hears for the first time:

Unbelievable stuff eh? Made me well up watching that. Reminded me off this little lad. Watch his face when he experiences sound for the first time:

There is good in the world. :)

Amazing, saw this earlier, brought a tear to my eye

I'm pissed off at you for making me log in, but Curious - that's fantastic!

It's out of the blue and it may come to nothing, but please, please, please give it all that you've got. Think about what quality of life and security could come from it. You've already proven your capability. A lot of companies prefer to promote from within, so you have that advantage. If nothing else, you'll be demonstrating your ambition.

Best of luck. Oh, and if you do get it, how's about a small interest-free loan for yours truly, huh? ;)

Doesn't really matter if you get a few hours' sleep every night either. Especially if it's benzo 'sleep'.

Yeah gonna ease off, i gapped out days etc but over done a bit...

Yeah, Nick! South Africa mostly.

Dan, you should've quoted Swampy's post saying I 'talk sense' before she deletes it or something.

But yeah, you've really been partying a lot; nearly as much as I was doing just before the wobble that prompted my referral to a shrink, so be careful. I'm not saying you'll end up seeing a shrink, but you'll end up having the wobble, possibly. And it ain't fun.

Sadly a pathetic amount of partying compared to usual, but stims are multi purpose for me,

Yeah you do speak sense, said it before ;p As for wobble... far from it, none the less thanks for the advise. meph sent me borderline off my rocker, from lack of sleep and various shit, this is a piss in the wind compared to those days. amazing times though regret none of it

Thanks for the kind words Sammy, they really are much appreciated. I'm definitely gonna apply for it, what have I got to lose?
