thanks, docs got me in them around 17 months ago. Worst mistake I made. The detox has been so hard and takes so long. Now I guess I cant take them to relax as may make me ill again, im not sure! Lush for occasional use tho! Should have stuck to the ssri's ha;) x

But Valium gives a serotonergic effect, thus if not taken in correct prescribed manor as with many addicts then they run the risk of serotonin syndrome developing. You don't have
to mix it to be at risk. Sorry bud mother was director of Torbay mental health service for 25 years, so know a quite about about mental health and drugs and treatment of. Mainly because I've read a lot of the med journals she has.

why do they treat serotonin syndrome with diazepam if it causes it? I thought benzo's released dopamine not serotonin... plus I am on ssri and diazepam and temazepam..surly that would be a dangerous mix?!

not if you are prescribed it. valium releases dopamine correct, so you are fine. I cant find any research that any benzo causes SSyndrome. Hey, just downed a 10mg msj have to say... sod the syndrome!!!

Never heard of serotonin syndrome from benzodiazepines, SSRI act on serotonin, whereas Diazepam, etc, act on GABA receptors. two completely different set of neurotransmitters

Aye I remember them jockeys getting done in, was fucking horrible. Was in the pub just down the road while it was going on and not being able to do a thing, and that place is just about done up now, still fucking awful. All people coming out the pub and not being able to do a fucking thing. Awful. I never got into smack in Malton but apparently it was known for it? Jesus.

edit: remember there being a certain family you'd not fuck with and getting bollocked by my mates cos they were trying to get a smoke off us and I told em to fuck off. I miss that place, beautiful if ya don't buy into the shite.

no shit its because of the bacon factory you get a lot of people coming down from Newcastle and the likes plus its one of the main stops for junkies running trips from scarborough to Liverpool lots come here and buy a oz then head back on dropping it of in malton York and the like

as for the pubs you would have to ask my brother that's more his thing I know where they are and which ones I like its almost as bad as York for pubs York has or had at one point a pub for every day of the year
 
Jesus I've just done a rough list for tomorrow of the drugs I've used 30 plus chemicals most in the last 9 years or so insane the crap I have taken and they are just the ones I can remember or know of had to have one which just says bath salts bloody insane bit like me lol :)

that's not including the normal every day drugs like speed ket pot lsd smack and crack .

ive got lucky mate simple as had a couple of hospitalizations and in the last 3 years 2 near fatal o.d.s think its time I took a rest
