I wonder if people who abuse benzos end up passing out and shitting the bed
 
One of my younger brothers took a shit in the bath of the house we moved to when I was ~7 on the day we went to view it. It was a shithole but that didn't help its case at all. Never did like bathtime after that no matter how often it had been used (for bathing) since.

I once came around at some point during a peev run (several days in when a particularly hefty bongload will actually send me to sleep instead of perking me up) to find myself kinda stood on my head on the sofa having shat myself. Thankfully I was wearing joggers with an elasticated waist. Small mercies and all that.

In his defence the actual toilet was so rancid I don't blame him for not wanting to go near it. The place had been condemned apparently which is why we got it so cheap. Although I didn't think that was actually legal so I may have been told lies. On t'other hand, Daddy Dearest was a council bailiff so maybe it was some kinda bizarro "perk" to be able to buy shitholes for pennies.

I'm an EADD regular and I don't think TL is THAT terrible. It's a great place to wind people up when I'm in a posting mood.

But EADD will always be MUCH better because we have more options posting wise - we can talk about drugs, we're now consulted with and involved in giving our opinions on stuff/changes (cheers knock) AND we can talk to each other about negative shit, without the inevitable, 'want to commit suicide? then gtfo to TDS'

It's tons more flexible than TL will or can ever be. TL therefore hardly develops, unless you get a decent mod in, which you have done with Papa, and despite me having a problem with 'that' particular rant of his recently, I praised his appointment. He's good for the place

In less grubby news, anyone caught a glimpse of the aurora yet? Was supposed to be visible across (maybe) much of the UK tonight. Didn't see owt when I pottered down to shops earlier (after dark - I'm not that far gone :p) and not seen owt out the window yet. Anyone - especially our Jocklight breadbins - had more luck?
 
The Lounge... FFS... I don't mean to sound biased, but you'd have to be pretty stupid not to see the difference in posting. For instance, has anyone seen that username "lonewolf13"? 45,330 posts?

if anyone can find just ONE of them posts which is either:

A) particularly amusing
B) particularly insightful
c) considerably creative
D) showing some kind of intelligence
E) Something original

Then I will promptly post a video of myself re-enacting Bodda's "sexy time" video word for word, eat my own nappy hat, then donate £30 to the forum*




Until then, please compare those posts with our own 40,000+ man Shambles... and you can clearly see a distinct differentiation in quality of content between the 2 forums.

I have vague memories of chatting with lonewolf13 (I think - dancing wookie avatar?) and he didn't seem like one of the painfully crap Rats really. There are far, far worse in there if you dredge a bit.

In post count news, it did appear to initially confuzzle the locals when I've occasionally (almost exclusively drunkenly when EADD has been dead) posted in there. Many don't seem to realise it's possible to rack up posts in forums other than Teh Lounge. Although, to be fair, I post a helluva lot of dross and drivel myself here and in other sub-forums :o

And in some small defence of the place, it's not all bad. Just the vast majority of it. "Be the change" and all that I know. That's just not practical unfortunately. I doubt there are enough worthwhile/amusing/intelligent/other-qualities-Rats-tend-to-lack regular posters across the whole site to make that feasible. Even though almost the entire Lounge postcount is created and maintained by barely a dozen postwhoring Rats (at least according to the last stats I recall being posted here).
