Also, in my extensive tree felling career (a couple of days in June) I limbed the things while they were still standing. It makes for an eerie, post-apocalyptic look to the garden for a while.
 
I have a involuted toenail which is causing me untold pain & aggro. I asked the Podiatry dept. for an appt. months ago and got nothing so i decided to chase them up as things are getting daft.

Got me an appt. in 3 weeks oh yeah rock n roll baby !
 
Bah, missed the latest mspaint effort :(

Sold my motorhome, not sure whether my relief at being shot of it outweighs the £9k I'm down on the deal. Actually I think it does :)
 
A mobile meth lab was proposed by an eager young comrade, but I don't know of many vast expanses of desert in Scotland to afford the necessary privacy. Except perhaps Dundee?


Oh, and there was a wee bonus while I was showing the man round the van, spotted a wee baggy on a shelf and grabbed it, couple of joints worth of weed :D

So Jimmy Saville, the only man to defend Gary Glitter ("he never did anything wrong, it was just a few pictures on his hard drive") is now being accused of child abuse.

In a way it's a shame he's dead. And in a way it isn't.

Cunt. Apparently a paper was going to out him as a child abuser and he replied to them "well, if you want to be responsible for Stoke Mandeville losing its charitable donations ..."

I thought it was common knowledge (but not confirmed, eg printed in the papers) that he was a kiddy fiddler for years. I'd heard the story before that some newspapers had evidence on him but shat out of publishing it, wasn't sure of the exact reasons but thought it was just along the lines of "I know 'person x, y & z' & I'll make sure you never work again".

Basically at one point old creepy Saville had too much clout. They were scared to expose him for fear of destroying their own careers.

It was pretty obvious though. I don't know how anyone could have thought he wasn't a peado as soon as they saw the guy. Well :sus:

Yeah, common knowledge is the point. That he's only being accused now is the point.

We hate paedophiles so much we give them their own TV show (with kids!) and look the other way.

Think about that.

Plus, I'd never seen this stuff where he defends Glitter.
 
All of this reminded me of THIS (dovetails nicely with recent TV chat too) which was MEANT TO HAVE BEEN a transcript of a section edited out of Saville's appearance on Have I Got News For You?

It was MEANT TO have been debunked, according to Internet rumour-mills at the time (through which it first surfaced) and was variously attributed to Armando Ianucci and Chris Morris. But now... now... now....

MM: you did, he apparently did, alt accounts, lame pictures. Could have been someone else, maybe wasn't.
 
Did he actually say that about Gary Glitter? Bizarre thing to say even if you are a paedo as you'd surely draw attention to yourself. From what I heard on the news one of the women is reporting that when she got abused in the 70s in Savilles dressing room there was another famous celeb in there with him shagging another kid. Didn't say who it was though. Might be Glitter.

Have I missed something? has MSB returned from a ban, only to be dealt another one already?

Well I'm not saying it was him but someone popped up with a series of alt accounts and some shit mspaint pictures and looked to be picking up where he left off.
