Gibberings CCXIII - 5 Days of Ball Sweat or Fresh Vagina Juice?

Good afternoon all!

Does anybody have any spooky Halloween plans? My plans at the moment are to dress up and eat candy in my room :D truly spooky!
 
Scary films are a MUST! Was told last night by two of my male friends that guys don't like scary movies only women do. In what world is this fact? Sure, I can't argue because I LOVE horror movies but I don't know many blokes who hate them. Apparently those two do. One of them really shocked me by this revelation. I'll never look at him the same way again :(
 
As you know Cloudie, I'm a massive fan of Halloween and all things fright. I do love a good scare. I don't understand people that don't like horror movies or a good fright. Suppose the scariest things in the world are the cunts that inhabit it. There are some absolute melters out there.

Still, can't wait for Halloween!!! Loads of scary movies and even some old halloween cartoons. Handing out Candy on Monday night. It's turned proper autumn up here. There were still quite a few green trees kicking about but today everything is in full orange, yellow and deep reds. It's quite beautiful with this mist we've got. A proper hot cocoa or cinnamon tea day. Something warming and soothing knowing that I don't have to go out there in that shit ;) Must admit, it is a bit chilly here so all the more reason for some warm drinks, a cuddly jumper and snuggled down to some halloweeny movies.

I do indeed! Halloween is one of those things I actually like to have a good go at. My all time favourite scary film is The Shining. Psychological thrillers are my thing. "Here's Johnny!" True that, too many out there if you ask me. That's why I prefer staying inside my warm cosy house. Although, saying that, I'm going to London late this evening for a few hours, so no doubt I'll see a lot of them throughout the night.

I bet it looks picturesque there. Definitely the time to stick the heating on and veg out in PJ's, and speaking of which, I've been in mine since yesterday xD Got my duvet from my bed down here on the sofa too. Snug as a bug in a rug I am!

Cloudie, Best of luck out there in London tonight. Thankfully I'm not out there. I think I'd go mental seeing every single girl dressed up as Harley Quinn this year. Get some imagination. My best mate went as Miss Argentina from Beetlejuice this year. Stunning make up, she looked spot on. It's the best costume I've seen in yonks.

Awww Cloudie, That sounds like bliss being all snuggled up. Dats my plans! My favourite horror is Ju On. Love that movie. I do tend to like more Korean and Japanese horrors. I haven't seen an American one I've like in years and years. I did go to the cinema with my mate to see REC when it came out because he didn't want to see it alone. It ended up being just myself, my mate and one other guy in the cinema. Yeah, I yelped at one point during that film. Awkward pause and both my mate and that stranger started laughing at me. At least I'm good for something ;)

On the Consumer front, No, I've not heard from him but more than likely he's out there just enjoying himself as he should be. Hope he's having fun out there.
 
Thank you <3 Should be okay. Heading up at 7. Oh yeah, I bet they will do. I'll snap a few pictures for our amusement ;) Beetlejuice is a fantastic film. I can imagine that looked proper too! Still, nothing wrong with a white bed sheet with eye holes in it. They did try that in Beetlejuice actually, but without much luck.... but still.

Ah Ju On, good film! The Japanese horrors are good! Was watching a few the other night, and then got distracted by another Japanese film called 'What's going on with my sister?'. Hey it was in the recommended okay.... I'm sure the Meth took me there. You'll understand if you find it online to watch... I can't say that I've seen REC. Something to add to this Halloween watch list :) If it's scary enough to make a veteran yelp, it's good for me!
 
It was pretty good. Spanish I think. Done in kind of a low budget almost first person camera style. Zombie like. I enjoyed it. It was the suspense that built up to that yelp that was totally worth it. I do love a good bit of suspense when it comes to movies. Adds to the horror. I'm not one for slasher flicks. All show and no substance.

Some Bloke Who No Longer Exists was once accused of "watching a film like a girl" when he asked one of his friends to pause it and explain something. Men apparently are not supposed to pay attention to the plot of a movie.

As for Hallowe'en, I have ripped the electronics out of an old camera, and am going to rig the flash bulb to go off right in the eyes of anybody trying to look through my letter box .....
 
JULES! That's so mean. Think of little 5 year old suzie dressed up in her little princess outfit. Naw, I can't either because when I was 5 I was rocking a Boba Fett costume!

You feel strangely hungrier than you did before you started. You eat the other half. You feel pleasantly buzzed. You feel very hungry. You begin feeling stoneder and stoneder, and certainly too stoned to care whether or not that is even a real word. You eat another one. It takes a long time. You are not feeling any fuller. The hash cake is taking a long time to eat. You are getting very stoned. Eating these hash cakes seems to be taking a very long time. You are not feeling any less hungry. Were you eating something? Never mind, you'll remember it if it was important. You are so stoned now, you are no longer sure you are exactly enjoying this .....

Yeh, I'm taking it easy until I work out a decent dose. Gonna be hard though as I'm already stoned and pissed. Just had a slice that represents 2.5g of leaf. Have no idea how this equates to mg THC, just have to wait and see...


Edit: starting to feel very stoned now, in a luvverly narcotic kind of way.

It generally takes 45 minutes - 1 hour to begin feeling stoned from eating cannabis. You need to consume it with something greasy, as THC is not soluble in water; but it is highly soluble in any sort of fat or oil, and such a solution is temperature-stable, so butter -- or something baked with butter -- would be an ideal delivery medium for THC.

I suspect you will have a good experience, anyway .....
