Gosh we seen Donovan at the pavilion in Glasgow recently. He sat Buddha like with pride on a cushion and played beautifully without mentioning his Beatles connection. I wanted to see him live before he died....is that bad of me?

I'm school shopping. Need to do some distance learning for workplace tickets and certs.
According to my mentor I'm over skilled but under qualified, and I will need some papers for my next 5 year plan to work.
There are a lot of worthless academies and colleges out there. . .

You can get "degrees" complete with transcripts pretty cheap in Thailand. I know a few people that got them so they could teach there. They look legit too but obviously if they go to the trouble of contacting the university your number will be up. I doubt many countries in SEA check with the uni's though

Don't scrimp on it. Honestly, it's worth doing even if you've left it this late in life. Lol, no offence meant :D. It'll be easy for you, don't stress about it. But get a worthwhile recognised qualification from a decent place. Think of UK based places, they're internationally recognised. If work's going to pay for it, why not go for a good one?

I wouldn't say I'm very bright but I have a lot of qualifications and it's enabled me to be paid well in interesting jobs. It's definitely worth it. I get bored easily, so this is a good thing.

I agree. Qualifications lead to good things and are well worth pursuing. As for moving to Asia i will be definitely doing that when my mum passes on. I dont think that will be for quite a while but i will end up in Thailand i am pretty sure. If i get my PHD i can teach nursing students over there. A friend of mine already does that. Thats the long term goal. I wouldn't sell my house here though. I would rent it out. The rent itself would be quite a good income in Thailand.

There's been collard doves, pigeons, magpies, blue tits, starlings, blackbirds, oyster catchers piping, robins (no red breasts in summer) and various other tweetings n' horny bird songs. I blame it on the trees! But all of a sudden they've quietened. Several church bells start at ten onwards
Sunday is noisy here. It's been glorious weather on the west coast for weeks and looks like another warm day ahead. I'm doing a mum Sunday dinner for sons + gf's, so I should get some sleep soon, though I've prepared most of it already... man is snoring away, oblivious n' happy :D
Starting to feel my joints complaining about the dancing I indulged in last night. Was so much fun, fab bands %)
