Holy shit dude! Hope you were just importing for personal use.. judges will, from what I've heard from a lawyer friend, pass hefty penalties for g dealing becuase of the heavy toll it takes on society (hospital costs, od's, ect).

just another good reason why importing g is never worth it. Good luck mate
 
Hi Everyone,

I'm new here and I live sometimes in the UK and sometimes NZ and Aus. In the UK, GHB is banned but GBL has not been banned yet. In fact I hope it never is. I am writing because there are posts here which discuss making GBH from GBL and it seems obvious to me that people are not aware of the simplest method of converting GBL to GHB. You need NO acids, NO Sodium Hydroxide and the end product is clean and of a consistant strength as long as you follow the simple recipe..

Preparation of Sodium GHB using Sodium Bicarbonate (Baking Soda, NaHCO3)

Add 273 g NaHCO3 (3.25 moles) to 1125 mL distilled water in a glass container. Slowly bring the solution to a boil while
stirring with a glass rod or similar. All of the baking soda will dissolve. Carbon dioxide will be seen leaving the
solution as it comes to a boil. This is the sodium bicarbonate breaking down into a slightly strong base,
sodium carbonate:

2 NaHCO3 -> Na2CO3 + H2O + CO2

Reduce the heat to a light boil, and slowly add 250ml gamma-Butyrolactone(GBL)0.. The addition is not
immediately exothermic as with the sodium hydroxide synthesis. Keep this solution at a light boil for 30 minutes.
Check the pH with universal pH paper. We are aiming for a pH around 7, but anything 6 to 8 is perfectly safe. If the
pH is too high, add a small amount more GBL and continue to reflux.

The solution will be perfectly clear and should be absolutely colorless. If it is not perfectly colorless, i.e. if
slightly impure butyrolactone was used and the solution has taken on a light yellow color, add about 100 mL of activated
charcoal. Allow this to boil for 10 minutes. Cool the solution then filter, washing the activated charcoal two or three
times with 50 ml portions of cold water. 410g of NaGHB will be made in this synthesis. This solution can be concentrated
to about 50% NaGHB before it will start to crystallize. If you wish for a powder, heat until the temperature of the
solution reaches 150°C then pour onto a flexible metal sheet and allow it to cool and solidify.

This synthesis is perfect for use where there is no ACS, Food or Electronics grade sodium hydroxide available.


The GHB produced is, in my opinion, the best ever. It's much harder to screw this method up and there's less risk of injury through dangerous chems etc.

I love G. It should be legal. I am against all forms of prohibition. Banning the legal sale of GHB may slightly reduce the number of users but it also drives the substance underground where half-wits try to make a quick buck by making and selling bad gear to kids.


Another thing which I though worth a mention.. Some posts here mention mixing GBL in a water/fizzy drink bottle for slow dosing throughout an evening etc. PLEASE remember that GBL is a powerful solvent and will slowly (or sometimes quickly) dissolve most plastics including keyboards, PVC clothes, shoe soles and drink bottles. When you buy GBL it comes in a HPTE recycled plastic bottle which has a triangle with a no. 2. in the middle. This sort of plastic is effectively the only kind which can safely hold GBL. Other kinds will slowly dissolve, gradually poisoning the liquid inside. The GBL drink solution inside will become dangerously toxic long before the GBL melts its way out!

If you want to put your GBL mixture in a bottle, please use HPTE or glass! GHB, on the other hand, is safe to carry in any type of bottle.

Well, happy G-ing and I hope that this info is of use to someone out there. As with most substances, the thing that we should fear the most is ignorance.

I'm Bustabraincells girlfriend.It happened on the 21st (wednesday), he won't be online for a while unless we get him another computer. Cops have his - evidence.

The best advice I'd give anyone playing with this is don't import the shit, and if you can not use it at all, then so much the better.

It's been a really crappy few days and won't be looking good for quite some time -we're talking years here, not months. The ramifications of importing something like this don't even come close to the payoff of getting it through.. And if you think you can import some for yourself, know its just for you and if you get caught, they'll realise you weren't selling it, you're wrong. Sheer quantity alone is enough to get you screwed. That'd over 2ml (2g) of it... more than that and it's marketable.

Nobody wants a Federal Offense on their police record now do they? Think of what happens to your life once that shows up on your record, all the places in the world you can't visit, the jobs you can't have. The job you have that you can't have anymore.....

Be careful out there. Or more to the point, use your head.
 
Sad story.. this happened to a few friends of mine as well a few months back. massive group of them got done - all on the same day.

so, soldier, what were any of the outcomes? I qm still in a worried, regretful stage, wondering hoe this is going to affect carreer, as i hold a MSIC card, travel options, (my kids live in NZ) will I gget my passport back, how long will they keep my computer, will they trace all my previous contacts etc, I know theres a lot of questions but my head is in turmoil and I need to know these things NOW ha ah
 
^ Brustabraincell, i really wouldn't be comparing your situation to anybody else's only because there are so many variables from case to case.

Plus, this a thread about GHB, and not your current predicament ;).

If you want though, PM me with some questions and I may be able to answer them, or at least give you some more info. I have some experience in law. Otherwise, just wait till your committal hearing and speak to a Duty Solicitor.
 
Great, just got woken up by a mates girlfriend because he was going absolutely mental. He had 3 points of shitty base injected sometime yesterday, knowing him didn't eat at all.. He apparently found an old vial of GBL in his boot.., and swallowed it all at once for some fucking lame and stupid reason... he thinks it was about 4ml of pure. He wasn't making sense and was just yelling, screaming and going on like a maniac. I said I was calling the E.R. and somehow he heard that and yelled NO DON'T! I'm feeling better now... This went on for another half an hour, ringing back a few times when he's dropped the phone or hung up. Yelling out nonsense.

I rang up again now and his girlfriend said he is sleeping... I said make sure he's breathing.. and on his side not his back... watch him for changes or stopping in breathing, or seizures and what not.. I told her to call me back in about 15-30 minuites and update me.. I'm really pissed off because he's taken 3ml before on a meth comedown and blew out so bad for about 3 hours not responsive just yelling, twitching and hitting his steering wheel and shit totally out of it... He told me twice he didn't want to call E.R. sop what the fuck.. I can't get around there but from what it seems like he's now in the g sleep.. but breathing fine with someone monitoring him... a big fuck off to him for this shit, i don't want to deal with this shit..

Update: His gf is trying to wake him up but he's just doing those fog horn blow out noises over and over and yelling in his sleep, but not responding in any engkish.. only making noises to physical punches or yelling.

it is with situations like this that this forum is invaluble with education....sure most ppl would call the ambos(sop) but with an experianced person at the helm, and it is marginal, I have seen some ppl do pretty wierd fukn shit in the depths of a blow out. They must be monitered, (as he has been) but will probly come to feeling fine.I certainly hope so....lessons to be learned, inform yr mates wot you are on, be educated about the effects, have ppl round you in case things go pair shaped, do not panic, and do not be afraid to call authorities before it is all too late!!! Each day, we all make decisions that can affect the rest of our lives, some big, some miniscule, as to hardly rate as being a decision, but it still will affect the ultimate outcome. and also I think that first aid aid should be compulsory at schools, preschools and encouraged at every aspect of our lives, throughout my carreeer, it has been compulsory, and cannot emphasise that everyone should have it, helll, even for your driver's lisense! to be updated before you are allowed to renew it! maybe I shall stand on that platform when I go for civil office!
 
Well he's woken up now. Sounds better he just rang me, not yelling out in nonsense language and just seems tired.. It is him again... He blew out and coma'd for a couple of hours, only making stupid retard noises when punched or whatever... He's gone back to sleep as he's tired... but he said when it was really bad he couldn't breath and he was convulsing, and to keep breathing he had to rock backl and forth really fast gasping for air. He still has no idea how much he had as he was hiding the dosing from his girlfriend, and he had no syringe, so he just had what was in the bubble vial.

A 42-year-old West Launceston man was yesterday charged with the alleged importation of over half a litre of Gammabutyrolactone (GBL), known as the date-rape drug 'fantasy', following a joint Australian Federal Police (AFP), Tasmanian Police and Customs operation.

The man has been released on bail to appear in Launceston Magistrate's Court on Wednesday, 2 May.

On 24 February 2007, Customs officers in Melbourne seized a suspicious cylinder package with contents described as 'print head cleaner'. Customs referred the matter to the AFP for further investigation.

Forensic examination and testing revealed that the package contained a clear plastic bottle with 517 millilitres of GBL.

The man is alleged to have obtained the GBL from the United Kingdom.

The effects of 'fantasy' vary according to the purity and the amount taken, but include euphoria, dizziness, relaxation and loss of inhibition. Side effects also include vomiting, coma, disorientation and impairment of movement and speech.

The man was charged with importing a marketable quantity of a border controlled drug contrary to the Criminal Code Act 1995.

The maximum penalty for this offence is a fine of $550,000 and/or 25 years imprisonment.

Those cylinders are fucking stupid. I've seen pictures on another forum how that company (or what I guess is the right company) sells. They should of never used those.
Oh and <500g customs check like less than 5% of shit.. as in open quickly.. most of the time they reseal stuff like this and send it out anyway because of no resources. Theres a lot of info on a private forum I will not hand out.


Don't fuck around with importing this shit as you will get done hard. Not worth it. Just pay the bullshit inflated prices and use less if you love G. And always know your dealer.
 
How long does it take for GHB's effects to diminish? I had some last night, 1.5 mls first off, then .05mls an hour later, then 2 mls a few hours after that. The last dose was at about 5am. It's now 5pm and suddenly Im feeling dead tired and a bit sluggish. Is this just lack of sleep, or is this residue effects?

well ,not having being a ghb user, only with gbl, find that the effects last around 2-2.5 hours, , probly the effect of crashing could be up tooo late, or not enuff amphetamines. My girl , however, who does not use as much as me, finds the effects last much longer
 
^ Yeah I put it down to getting up early Wednesday morning for work, work all day, come home, run around doing errands, then decide to get whacked and be up all night. Slept well though :D
