Getting rid of pupil constriction...

Long story short, my temp agency threw me in a warehouse for the rest of the month. I'll be getting lots of overtime, so I'm thinking of sticking it out as long as possible.
My problem is pain in my shoulder. I dunno what's wrong with it, but I usually get really bad, stabbing pain behind my right shoulder blade when I do repetitive manual warehouse stuff for more than 5 or 6 hours, so this 50-hour work week thing isn't helping. I need the money, etc. etc. etc.
The thing is I have a stockpile of those 7.5/750 hydrocodone, which isn't great, but it helps. The problem is it wasn't prescribed for me, so I can't use that as an excuse. If you're really curious, an entire pallet of hydrocodone fell from a passing jet and happened to land in the back of my car. I've got a hydrocodone prescription bottle that's dated over 18 months ago handy, but I'm pretty sure they won't believe that.
It would be fairly easy for me to go to work on some amount of hydrocodone, my only concern is the pupil constriction might give me away...
So, on with the questions:
1. Anything OTC products that'll bring my pupils back to a not-on-drugs size?
2. Are those eyedrops that optometrists use to dialate your eyes available to the general public?
A. Brand name/what they hell are they called?
B. Are they expensive?
C. If they are expensive, would they be kept behind a counter, or in plain view where some thieving dope-fiend who isn't me could abscond with them?
D. Would this even be worth it? Would they bring my pupils back to normal size, or would they make me look like I was rolling, which would, in theory, be worse? (If they did, I could always just dialate on pupil and say I had a concussion, which would actually allow me to be on much stronger drugs :) )
Thanks for your time. Remember, if I had better drugs to take at work, I would. And if I lose this job, that's not really a big deal, seeing as how a bah-zillion other people need temps.

Are you afriad they are gonna be suspicious just by seeing your eyes?? Most people except junkies and doctors would not think twice about a set of pinned eyes... Dilation is much more looked after..

Belladonna will dilate your pupils. I believe its active ingredient is what optometrists use. Something starting with an A..maybe atropine...I'm sadly very cracked out (last final early this morning) so I can't remember.
Belladonna is OTC as an herb, I believe, but be careful not to take too much, as it can be quite toxic at higher doses. But, for your purposes it might help...try 500-1000 mg a day ( I believe that is the recommended dosase but check on the bottle you pick up).

What about the other way around? Does anything otc work if your pupils are dilated and you want them to get smaller???

i think belladonna would blow your pupils up HUGE, and you'd look like a crack fiend.
i really dont think they'd notice.. and if they do, just say you took vicoden for pain. unless you're floored and nodding high off of it, i dont think they'd care, or even notice. i used to goto school waay high on vicoden, and no one (not even friends) mentioned pin-point pupils.

Atropine more paralyzes your eyes than relaxes them - looking at bright light will be really painful.
And make sure you don't ingest the alkaloid. It is very, very trippy.

This whole paranoia stems from this time I was in high school and had a panic attack - they put me in this room in the nurse's office with this poster outside which supposidely told you what kind of drugs you were on by how your pupils looked. 8)
No one noticed by the way, although I dropped a lot of shit. They didn't care about that, either.
I'm not taking belladonna to make my pupils normal. That seems kinda... iffy.

take the old prescription bottle with you and if you get shit say you took some pain meds that you had from a long time ago that you never finished the prescription

If you get pulled over and you tell them you are on pain med's and do not have the bottle there, can't they give you a DUI?

It is atropine, and can be applied topically to dilate the eyes. Still, it seems pointless to try to counteract the constriction from opiates.
In anycase, dilated eyes are a more commonly associated sign of drug usage......

Yes, as there is a specific warning on the bottle that says not to drive, which is required by law. So if you are taking them for perscription, youd still be breaking the law. They can give you a DUI for acting fucked up with no proof, anyway.

If you are only taking an amount of Vicodin for pain managment in your shoulder, you eyes really won't get pinned. ecspecially if you do it for more than a couple days...see the thing about Vicodin is that if you are using for pain management the side effects(as in..getting high) will go away after a few days, but they will still subside the pain
Fuck it...I would deffinately need some Vics to get me through the day if I worked at a warehouse job..hahe..but no seriously there are sometimes when I go into the bathroom at work and look in the mirror and my pupils are practically non -existant...I work in a bright office and nobody has ever said anything to me..you should be cool...
I would keep them in that old bottle though. If someone(a boss) says something just say you were perscribed a certain amount and you take them "as needed for pain"...just keep only a few in there though. don't pack the fucking bottle to the top each day before work..hah/..you'll be fine

Actually, if you are taking pain meds that are prescribed to you for legit purposes, you CAN legally drive...you just can't be FUCKED UP off the painkillers and drive. But if you have mild-to-moderate pain and aren't taking more painkillers than necessary, your driving shouldn't be significantly impaired.
I take painkillers for 3 days straight out of every month for cramps. I HAVE to drive to get to school, etc.

Please do not use the optomotrist stuff. It makes it very difficult to see and bright light hurts. YOu could hurt your eyes.
good luck

As a former warehouse worker, I can tell you that they really won't care if you're on drugs. Not that they would notice, but even if they did it wouldn't mean a thing to them. As long as you get your work done they aren't going to question you. Not to mention the fact that the only thing they would notice is blood-shot eyes, and most of the people in there probably have those just to get through the day. I know what you're talking about with the pain. Even when it's not real heavy labor you're still beat by the time the day is finished.

Fairnymph, yeah theyd have to prove it first anyway, which would be a bitch.. Even the high doses of painkillers will leave you clearminded enough to fake sobriety...
Anyway, I think its funny, now that i use opiates and hallucinogens/amphetamines, i can pcik out your average joe on the street and assume what substance they take/are on without even talking to them.. Ecspecially, opiates.. The eye is not noticable unless you know what to look for.. but if you do, bam its the most obvious thing in the world.
