Re 'swipe'. Watched it last night on C4. The Philomena Cunk (whatever her name was) bits were great. Apart from the Russell Brand parody thing which was shite compared to the rest of the show, really weak.
 
316 tories: Fucking fucking cunts - they're going to make us bleed (if exit polls are right). I call fraud - even if it's only the fraud of almost the entire media being tory, and the sort of disgusting propaganda spread in middle england, as shown in that john harris video above.

otoh - Hurray for scotland! (take us with you please!) - fuck you the alexanders and smurphy! (either the exit polls or the pre-election polls (done by the same people) are totally fucked)
 
I dont even have a green party representative where a stay. ? voted snp but really hope they dont try to abolish queens speech...could start a war round ma bit.

That's bbc's exit poll - they don't seem to be mentioning the other exit poll by yougov much - this is more in line with the other polls (Conservatives with 284 MPs, Labour 263, Lib Dems 31, SNP 48, UKIP 2, Plaid Cymru 3, and the Greens 1).

[adjusts tinfoil] maybe they've realised that it's better to fake an exit poll in the same way as they fake the actual one (like they didn't in that bush election)

It's going right to the wire in my constituency. Any more recounts, and the ballot papers will be too worn out to count again .....

Anyway, I don't expect it will make a blind bit of difference in practice. It's them and us, same as it's always been.
 
Silver linings...the complete and utter collapse of the Lib Dem vote...the landslide for the SNP in Scotland...the fact that Cameron will only have the slimmest of majorities and with each Tory MP that dies over the next five years he will be able to do less and less radical things, hopefully this time without the support of the Lib Dem MP's (who will fit into a camper van).

Fuck off Ed, you were useless.

Burn it down.
 
Glad the lib dems got punished for their treachery & betrayal. I voted for them last time around and never again.
 
my Lib safe seat fell to the Tories. They're heading for a clear majority. Disaster.

Libs got what they deserved though.
 
Just think .....

If Clegg hadn't got into bed with the Tories five years ago, it'd be Labour who'd have got punished last night. Or maybe sooner (a Tory-Labour coalition wouldn't have lasted) and he'd probably have wound up as PM when that failed.

Something about dirty dogs and fleas .....
 
I went to sleep about 4 this morning when there were only a handful of seats confirmed (mostly Scottish seats). Not surprised at how poorly UKIP have done although they did get more of the popular vote than SNP and Lib Dems combined, yet only coughed up a single seat.


Let's hope the SNP can ruffle up a few feathers in the next five years, even if their huge gains won't be as useful with the overall conservative majority. An interesting few weeks ahead as we see what becomes of the Lib Dem and Labour leadership contests :\
