I like the fact that only those who don't wish to vote for anyone are formally invited to speak.

We Welsh have some say in stuff but it's not independences I get that
When they say they want to save the union/uk the elite (and therefore the media) aren't talking about what everyone else is - to them saving 'the UK' means keeping their centralised scam of hording all the power they stole from empire and the workers to themselves, carrying on the international warmongery and serving the city of london banking elite and the gentry. I hope scotland does become independent - and then later wales, n. ireland and england join them and make a free united republic instead (london would probably become an independent city-state (pretty much is now) rather than give up their neoliberalism and tax haven business - but i say let em go if they don't want to join the FUR - we'll manage (us welshies might need a few lay-ons from you scots though).
This election has nothing much to do with scottish independence though - that's just the scare story the media has latched onto to try and avoid a potential outbreak of democracy - they're petrified of democracy because if it grew across the country in any meaningful way it would effectively mean the break up of the scam they call the UK (the actual people/country would be fine though).
It's pretty disgusting watching the media try to threaten us with the scary snp. It's about scottish people democratically choosing their mps, and them mps democratically voting which way they (and hopefully their voters) want. Hopefully, for once, the fraudulent FPTP will maybe bite them in the arse
Yet the people of Scotland voted No on the 18th September and after that result – the ‘settled will of the Scottish people’ – the beast of democratic awakening was supposed to dip its head with embarrassment, whine in apology for making a dreadful mess and ‘dividing the nation’, go into exile in the back garden and stay wheesht for the foreseeable future. It was expected – as was traditional – for it to only be seen again when Scotland’s gracious masters called on it to put a cross next to a Labour candidate’s name at the polling station. It turned out that the beast had other ideas.
Yeah, lots of parts, like whole departments or specialist areas of the NHS in England have been privatised.

What is even worse that with a little digging, the links back to members of the Government becomes apparent.

A quick google and you'll get the idea.
In Scotland our NHS is run by the Scottish Government. They also use private companies, however this is ONLY to reduce times to meet targets.
This is a fucking excellent article (you'll love it, swedger):
The Union Of Hypocrites
Evey - if you want to understand a bit more about the political climate in Scotland, and what this "independence lark" is all about, I suggest you read it! :D
And just to lower the tone a little....anyone see/hear Cameron's football gaff yesterday? 'Man of the people' Dave reckons he supports Aston Villa. Except yesterday he gave a whole excerpt in a speech in which he forgot this and put West Ham forward as his team.
Fucking tool.
Draw a picture of a cock/tits/person smoking a spliff on your ballot paper.
That he's a fucking tool goes without saying.
What fucking annoys me about the whole premise of this kinda thing is this: I don't give a flying fuck whether our Prime Minister (or First Minister) likes football, or supports this team or that, or whether they keep up to date with Game of Thrones, or like Blur or Oasis, or know the price of a pint of milk. This kind of shit is blown up by the media into something important, as a measure of whether politicians are "down with the people" or not. I wouldn't expect the CEO of my employer (or even my grandad, if I had one) to know or give a shit about any of those things, so how come we're supposed to expect the person that's RUNNING THE COUNTRY to do so? It's just facile mainstream media froth, designed to stop us thinking about the things that really matter.
Fuck right off. Spoiling a ballot paper is as useful as lying in your wanking chariot and complaining that nothing ever changes.

In fairness to Cameron he probably does have a genuine soft spot for the Villa...
...Unfortunately for his attempt to appear more likeable to your everyday working class football enjoying chap, that soft spot comes from the fact his uncle used to own the club. That's something every football fan can relate to - childhood memories of watching the team that your uncle owns play.
