Hi all,
I've been wanting to ask this for a while, but I don't network with the heroin users I know in real life all that much. Here is what I'm wondering: How do you pack up the necessary essentials for shooting up when you have to leave the house? And how do you carry it with you?
Here is what I need:
- Junk (obvi)
- 2-3 unopened syringes
- Spoon
- Alcohol wipes
- 2-3 q-tips
- water bottle
I generally put everything but the water bottle into a glasses case, and put the glasses case and the water bottle in a little messenger bag. Here is the problem that I've been running into - my messenger bag will fill up with dirty needles and alcohol wipes because I don't know what to do with the used up stuff (I tried flushing it down the toilet once, and let's just say it "back" fired on me). People that I know would know right away what a used up alochol swab is for, and obviously a syringe sticks out pretty clearly. I've got about ~100 used needles right now, and I wish there was a formal exchange program in Detroit so that I could turn these into new ones.
Also that means that I'm always walking around with a messenger bag, which isn't always kosher (bars, clubs, amusement parks). I'm a guy and I know that a lot of ladies just keep everything in their purse, so this may not be an equal problem/awkwardness. Either way, I'd like to hear from you gals as well.
This is 50% curiosity and 50% interest in improving my system.
