Shambles. We've read years' worth of your posts telling everyone how you don't suffer from G withdrawals, and how it magically doesn't affect you the same as others.
What you always fail to mention is that you are (or have been) pretty much always scripted a wide and wonderful array of benzos and other stuff from your doctor, not to mention all the other stuff you regularly do. It's no wonder your extensive use (and the cessation) of G affects you differently.
I'm beginning to be open about my use and abuse of G on here in order to help others. It's time you did too, instead of denying it and confusing others.
Lots of love. x
I have always been completely open about my use and abuse of everything, Felix. I stopped being scripted benzos years ago and they do fuck all for G withdrawals anyway according to most (I genuinely don't know cos only had the two in the same vicinity once or twice from memory - certainly never used benzos regularly when I was using geebee and never needed to use them for w/d cos I didn't get w/d).
As I have consistently maintained, the only time I got G w/d was when I used KO doses on a regular basis - specifically at night to sleep. Other than that never a problem to do an ultraquick taper from an average of 30ml/day down to nothing over 24-48h. Sometimes didn't even bother with a taper and was still fine bar being a bit lacking in energy. This only worked when I completely avoided KO dosing though.
I metion it frequently cos I'm hoping somebody else will chime in to agree or disagree cos it intrigues me. It seems nobody else avoids KO doses and/or uses G to sleep though and those are precisely the people not in a position to know whether amending their dosage patterns would make as much difference as it did for me.
Finally, I am not for one moment suggesting heavy use of G is a good idea by any stretch. However, given plenty are doing it anyway it doesn't seem unreasonable to suggest possible techniques for avoiding the worst symptoms of w/d - especially given how extreme they are.
