GBL Megathread 4: End of an Era?

But GHB doesn't contain any cleaning products, does it? It's made using them, that is all. Misinformation at its best there. By the way, bicarb is also a cleaning product, if you want to get pedantic. Also, sodium hydroxide is used in food production, and GBL is used in the preparation of vitamins, etc. The bicarb method has much more chance of leaving you with something that is pretty much useless.

It is my experience that using bicarbonate works perfectly well and is just as reliable as using hydroxide.

Get a dropper bottle. A pipette full holds about a ml, and the bottle holds ten. It's small enough to fit the smallest of pockets. Put some in the last mouthful of your drink, but for the love of God, don't put it down and let someone else drink it.

Of course not. Just because I don't have experience with GBL/GHB doesn't mean I an irresponsible drug users.

J/K I was actually planning to drug someone with the GBL. Or maybe not? =D

The cloudyness might be due to some insoluble impurities in the bicarbonate, maybe calcium carbonate or something like that. Does the liquid still smell of lactone? If not, the reaction has probably worked.

Luckily I decided to keep the liquid just incase. Oh crap, I just checked it, I couldn't smell anything significant and its a friggin' semi-solid, like a thick sludge.
Ive made white gunk.
 
You might have made semi-solid GHB there. Try a dose. It certainly won't hurt. Try adding a bit of water.
 
Ok cheers, Ill try some tonight. If I can get it into some sort of liquid, bearing in mind I used 25ml of GBL in my attempted conversion, how many ml of this potential GHB should I try? (when I poured it into the container it was 40ml, which was pourable because it was still hot)
 
Be 100% sure that it is a TOTALLY clear liquid at the end of each procedure. The final product may be a little bit yellow, but the pH must me 7-8
 
Am I dosing too high on my redoses? The first 2 doses I get the tingely euphoric feeling, but after that its mostly sedation. I start with 2ml as the first dose, then 90 minutes later 1ml with 1ml hourly.

From personal experience thats a bad cycle to get into Gok. If your first dose isnt high enough bump it up a bit. Then take the dose you find most comfortable every two hours. You dont want to get into hourly dosing. Just some friendly advice. Its just not a good path to go down IMO / IME.
 
tolerance, sleeping disturbance and higher risk of addiction / wd's to name but a few. Two hours is the best redosing schedule. Anything less can easily lead to 24/7 use so I've seen.
 
Ok thanks for the help. Ive read elsewhere that the best dosing schedule for GBL is to comedown before dosing again too. I really need to properly experiment with amounts and frequence of doses.
 
Hmmmm... recently indulged again after a six month break (possibly longer). I stopped about a month after the ban, I think.

Tolerance has markedly reduced, as have a lot of the negative effects I experienced towards the end of my previous use.

I would agree that rigorous adherence to a re-dosing schedule (or just avoiding re-dose) is required to get the best out of this substance. My downfall was using it as a sleep aid, but confusing this motivation with recreational use. Never got into it 24/7 like some (work and education don't permit), but was definitely doing higher doses than was good for me (easily taking 5ml over a few hours at night). The 'high' ended up being reduced to a slumber-like fuzziness - a shadow of the feeling that made it so attractive in the first place - and left me feeling like I was lacking brain cells in the days following.

Happy to report that on the 3ml (2 x 1.5ml) I had recently, many of the stimulant properties were there, as was 'the vibe' that makes it such a sociable substance to use in moderation. Still think I could stand to lower the dose to get the best out of its subtleties.
 
I just bought some GHB liquid locally here but the person I bought it from didn't know the concentration. Every single liquid GHB I have ever purchased always seems to have a bit of 'lactone' taste to it left, although this batch seems to be the 'best' batch I have ever boughten in liquid format.

I still prefer Pure GHB Powder as I find it much more euphoric than liquid GHB or GBL, and without producing some of the harsh withdrawal symptoms as quick.

Last night I have never been so fucked in my life, I ended up blacking out and then waking up puking all over myself after having to leave the theatre. Apparently I took too much lol fuck.. My brother was putting together the pieces for me telling me what the hell happened, apparently I was yelling in the theatre making a fucking dick of myself. I have never been so fucked off G in my life, and have been using the substance since 2004. This is what happens when I don't know the concentration of the GHB, hence why I prefer powdered G.

Oh well, lesson learned.
 
just slowly boil off excess water to get a sticky blob that you can then treat pretty much as powder for weighing doses out.

Damnit all, I am really struggling to find my correct dose.
Ive taken 2.5ml before and had amazing euphoria, I took 2.25ml just over an hour ago and fell asleep for about 5 minutes and woke up to find my parents standing right infront of me, it freaked me the hell out.
My laptop was on bluelight too, but when I woke up it had gone to a screensaver, hopefully they didn't see anything. Apart from being slightly difficult to wake up is there anything else that might look odd?
