Robb has every reason to be pissed. Jaime was an asset. Sansa and Arya are good as lost. And the whole point that the guy next to Robb was like "I lost my son, don't you think I'm pissed too? VENGENANCE!!! Grrr." Catelyn really showed her weakness (not that you can blame her), but yeah ...this will be the North's undoing.

And Theon is weak. Sooo weak.

Except Arya isn't lost because she isn't a prisoner anymore.

Also Robb saying he doesn't want to marry the Frey's daughter seems like a bigger fuck up. I haven't read all the books yet (halfway through Clash of Kings at the moment) but I am willing to bet Robb deciding not to go through with the arranged marriage will be a bigger problem down the line. That old Lord Frey seems like he is capable of all sorts of treachery. But that is just me. I could be entirely wrong.

buckle up, dude. buckle up ;p

anyway, this episode was so-so tbh. I don't mind the slow ones but this one didn't seem to move anything forward really (except jaimie stuff).

also, did they skip tyrion's chain completely? i thought it was being pushed but doesn't seem like it's gonna make it. ;/ that was so cool in the books, bleh. well, looking forward to blackwater, so curious how they gonna handle the battle.

oh man, you don't even know.

this episode was okay, it was a 'bridge' episode to set up the season finale. can you believe it's fucking season finale time so soon?

i liked brienne and jamie, they are going to be so much fun later.

we went to one of our friend's shows a couple days ago, and they (cello, violin, drums) covered the game of thrones theme song and everyone in the crowd went bat shit crazy. it was fucking awesome.

God damn it now I'm gonna have to read at super speed to find out what you mean. :X

That does sound pretty fucking cool.

Season finale already? I thought there would be 4 or 5 episodes left no?

Kind of a boring episode but to be expected i suppose after last time. 2 minutes of Khaleesi time was a downer. Was expecting some dragons to start fucking shit up this season but get the feeling i might have to wait a few years for that.(no spoilers please Book nerds)

Not impressed with Momma Stark at all and was really hoping the Wildlings would murder the face off John Snow. Hate that guy.

Bastard in a Basket!

Bit of a boring episode, but was alright

the shot of robb stark walking up through the woods with the horses behind him was beautifully shot, fucking stunning

I think Arya isn't lost at all, she left through the gates and just has to sneak around the lanisters army to the close reasonably close by Stark army. I also think Tyrion has Sansa's back where he's not gonna let her get fucked over.

^^
Hate might be too strong since i upset the John Snow fanclub! Sorry I don't really root for him at all. Just find him a boring, grumpy character so far. The whole 'feeling sorry for myself cos I'm a bastard' thing got old very quickly. I thought he might finally loosen up last week when the hot wildling wanted some fingerbanging. But no, the dullard couldn't seal the deal. His mate Sam probably made half of his scenes better/funnier.

John snow is pissing me off with his immature actions. I like the guy alot, but I feel like his character starting acting in a way that he wouldn't. Granted who am I to say how he'd act.

he's like what? 15? even younger in the books. since when do teenage boys now anything about anything ;p

The problem is we don't know how old they really are because we don't know the physics of the world.

Also the age that he is protrayed in the TV series is about the same age as many indivudals who are serving in the military today, who are forced to act in ways that civilians wouldn't at the same age. He was also trained as a night's watch men, were one is going to have to toughen up and mature in certain facets more than other individuals at that same age. Also you have to consider that danger is a very commen worry in that world, so one has to become more mature in certain respects. Look at Arya. She killed before Jon Snow did (age wise).

the books have a lot of grounding in our physical world as far as i can tell - their day is a day as we know it and their month is a month as we know it.

in the books jon is 14 when the story starts. his actions are immature because he is immature...

But we aren't talking about the book, we are talking about the TV series.

Also why would you assume it has a lot of grounding in our physical world? What makes you think that the solar system that they exist is any way similar to ours?

you believe the tv series is set in a different universe to that in the book? that would be odd.

i believe their solar system is similar to ours because (in the books) the sun rises in the east and sets in the west, because a month is about the length of the female characters' menstrual cycles, etc.

it's not the same world, clearly - they have dragons and wildfire and shit.
