Has anybody else become obsessed with spotting people in other programmes who appear in Game of Thrones? I think I am really annoying the missus at the moment because whatever we watch at some point I'm bound to say "hey, wasn't that guy blah blah blah in Game of Thrones"

seriously, yara? because osha/asha is too much to remember? from here on out i'm still going to call her Asha because that's her god damn name, damnit. She's my favourite character so of course I'm upset about how she is portrayed. while i was reading her in the books, i expected a severe woman, carved from iron by the salt of the sea. instead she is roundfaced and small like a child. I wanted a long, taut woman, like a bow, with a long, taut face. whatever. WHATEVER. perhaps this actress will win me over. her introduction with Theon was as creepy as I read it to be. I lurched along with that disgusting horse ride the entire way there. Balon is surely winning me over, along with the salty grey of Pyke.

not much else i really cared about once the greyjoys showed up, hahahahaha.

I loved what you said about Robb and his facial acting skills. TOTALLY AWESOME!!! And I am an Arya fan,too, so I am glad that she is back in the story. I love her so much!
And WTF is up w/ the name Yara??? Even in the book Theon made the connection between the 2 woman,that Asha reminded him of Osha and that even their names were similar. And yes...their meeting was creepier than the book...and I am not sure about Asha,the chick playing her,that is. She is supposed to be super hard,ya know?
alos-the shadow birthing will happen in upcoming episodes. Melisandre and Stannis JUST fucked on his KILLER table carved out in the shape of Westeros! She has to have his seed to give birth to a shadow-also,Renly is killed by a shadow before melisandre gives birth to the shadow at Storm's End w/ Davos. So first they all meet-Stannis,Renly,Catlyn,Melisandre,ect...to talk terms,Renly says no and is killed that night by a shadow that Brianne ans Catlyn see. It's the next day Melisandre convinces Stannis that she needs to be taken,by boat-a smugglers route,to Storm's End. And of course Davos takes her. so maybe not the next episode,but the shadow birthing will def be coming soon.

*Balon Greyjoy is spot-on.
*"Asha" isn't that bad, though my Mom had similar objections to others in this thread. A diamond in the rough, IMO. Then again, Asha is not even in the top five of my favorite characters in the series, so whatevs.
*Salladhor Saan is completely different than he's depicted in the books, but I can't say I disagree with this rougher version of the man.
