Fuck me it's Friday already!

Do exactly as you have planned. Live in the city and travel about when you have annual leave.

I arrived in Sydney last august. I was set up in a job when I arrived and my employer sponsored me after 6 months.

In the last year I have travelled to Melbourne, gold coast, and northern Queensland. All done comfortably without annoying traveller types boring u with stories about how random their night was. In the next month I have 2 trips planned for long weekends away- going to hire a boat and go fishing next week.

You will get used to the prices very quickly and try not to convert everything to uk prices. Remember you will be likely earning considerably more!

There are some negatives of living here such as the pish clubs and having to get up at 4 am to watch the champs league. But the beach and good weather makes up for it!

You better be joking. Worst papers ever (unless you really flip the lid & buy red ones). Had to roll with them on Sunday because my mate I sent to go pick up my weed (yes, I am that lazy) forgot to go to the shop for kingsize silvers on the way back. Old school sticking the skins together to get a reasonable sized joint. Fuck that shit. Silver Rizlas are the boss when it comes to buying skins from the shop, if you've got a better selection those OCB Xpert ones are cracking, as long as silvers but not quite as wide. Or if you want to go mad posh those Raw Connoisseur ones are the ultimate, brown unbleached skins.

I like skins.

Currently skinning up with fucking blue kingsize slims though, petrol station didn't have silver :|

If you don't have an unhealthy obsession with skins you aren't a proper stoner. Just googled those Raw Connousseurs, they look boss. Even get your own roach paper as well, gonna have to track down some of them. I've never really got on with the OCB silvers for some reason, I find them a bit fiddly, never tried (or heard of) the Xperts though. At the end of the day I want a spliff to burn nice and slow, if I roll with greens it'll be out in 10 minutes.

My mate once invited a mate of his from uni up, and this lad fancied himself as a rasta (I say fancied himself cuz he just came across as a pretentious prick). He wouldn't skin up with anything other than rizla reds, it did my fucking nut in. "Its what uncle bob rolled wit mannnnn!" Fuck off you twat and twist up a silver
 
Dan, couldn't have put it better myself. My mates who have the odd smoke, maybe buy a 20 bag here & there, but aren't full-time think I'm mental when I get so uptight about skins lol. You'd be hard pushed to get me to go answer the door but if the only skins in the house are green rizlas I'll often bounce straight up & do a 10 minute round trip to the shop lol.

Get on those Raw skins man. They're easily the best I've used. Criss-cross watermark thing the whole way down them means they burn perfectly straight, and slow. They're a bit awkward to carry out with you though due to the size of the pack with the roach n that. I tend to just leave those ones in the house.
 
Ha I've got a right image of you, sending your mates to pick up your weed and skins, and reckoning a 10 minute trip to the shop is a hassle ;) haha!

I'll see if the local headshop has some in pal. They should do, they've got loads of different ones. The packet looks pretty cool as well. Yup, it does my head in when people don't use silvers, I know there's a time and place for a swift spliff, but most of the time I just wanna kick back and chill with a 30 minute bifter.

Ha one time the guy in the corner shop asked me why I buy them. "You like to smoke big cigarettes yes?"
"Nah mate, I like to smoke spliffs." He always smiles at me when I buy them now lol
 
I could never get on with large papers, when I started smoking you couldn't get them in normal shops, maybe Rips from a market stall or summit but they were for fekin 'ippies:)

Once you get into a ritual it's not something you feel inclined to break, greens are great when your in the dark or having visual issues ;) the corners are cut off so you don;t have the horrible moment when you go to lick the gum only to realise you have the papers back to front.
 
Greens are disgusting tippexy planks saturated with chlorine and suitable only for the very young, the very old or the bedridden and infirm.
 
I was once repairing a plasterboard wall and there was a hole in it which I thought I could easily patch with green rizlas on account of their gummed edge. Unfortunately, at first their thickness was such that I couldn't open the door of the room I'd used them in and then their weight caused the wall to suddenly collapse, the floor to fall in and the foundations of the house to shift, creating a crack in the earth leading to its core which my entire family fell down, where they were boiled alive in lava.

Don't give me that green rizla shit.
