Hi Draven,
I am also very worried about the coronavirus, my husband has lung problems and I have been preparing for the inevitable day that I will have to see him on a ventilator again.
I watched an interview with a man named Kevin Heart, he was a coronavirus patient still in the hospital telling about his brush with death. He said that even though you feel like your going to die, you have to get up. You have to get up a few times a day, even if it is killing you, it may make you choke or vomit, but laying down all the time will reduce your lung capacity and make you more susceptible to complications.
I made a few jars of folk medicine to help boost mine and my husband's immune system and to help us best COVID-19. A happy side effect that our lungs began clearing up after we started taking it, and the inflammation in my spine has seemed to go down.
I used some old tostitos salsa jars to give you an idea of the size of jar I am using.
Add to jar:
4-6 cloves of crushed, peeled garlic
A large knuckle of grated or chopped ginger
3 tablespoons of grated fresh or powdered turmeric
Cayenne peppers or crushed red pepper or powder
2 tablespoons black pepper (very important)
1 stick of cinnamon or 2 tablespoons powder
A little orange and lemon zest because I had some
2 shots of alcohol (optional, helps soothe the chest)
A little apple cider vinegar (optional)
Fill the jar up with the best honey you can find - raw, unfiltered is best, but if necessary any honey will do.
Mix all ingredients well. Take 2 tablespoons every 4-6 hours as needed.
It can be drank in a tea with lemon or taken straight out of the jar. The honey straight will soothe and coat the throat and help to relieve some of the coughing and discomfort.
Soak the fresh turmeric in hot water from the tap to help make curcumin more water soluble.
If you can't do this, I recommend megadoses of vitamin C, echinacea, garlic supplements, and chicken broth made with a ton of vegetables and herbs that have been strained out. I have a recipe for "jewish penicillin" (chicken soup) if you want it. Amazing stuff.
Best of luck to your friend.
