Well, I was introduced to meth about a year ago, did it for one night and then during the summer on a trip for about eight straight days. For no particular reason, I didn't do it the rest of the summer (I couldn't easily get a hold of it, but I wasn't craving it or anything so it didn't really matter), but since the school year started I've done it between ten and fifteen times, maybe about once every 2 weeks. Personally, I find that I enjoy it basically more than any other drug I've ever encountered (with the possible exception of E), but that I also don't crave it at all. I know most people might think I'm lying when I say this, or at least deluding myself, but I had about 1.5 grams and 2 brand-new pipes in my room for two weeks that I never touched, or even comtemplated touching, so I think I'm being reasonably honest with myself.
Anyway, virtually every time that I have used I have followed a particular pattern: we start smoking sometime at night (perhaps 10 or 11), and then continue straight through until the morning early afternoon. I then go home or whatever and just relax for the rest of the day. A lot of people that I know have huge problems coming down off the drug, but I find that by doing it this way my body isn't tired at all (obviously) during the whole night I do it, and by smoking it the next morning I am able make it through the day feeling very content while gradually getting tired. Thus, I just go to sleep the next night normally, and my sleeping pattern is never disturbed and I feel fine. It seems to me that use for only a night at a time is quite optimal, as my body feels much worse the longer that I do it consecutively, and I also seem to get less and less high as the binge continues if I go longer than a full night and day.
However, I am quite aware of the fact that people respond VERY differently to meth. For instance, a buddy of mine stares out the window for hours, thinking the cops are always coming (it's not pretty, let me tell you). Furthermore, if he does it at all it's always for as long as he can do it regardless of how much he is spending or how it is affecting him. In my opinion, he should never touch the stuff again, as it absolutely ruins him.
So, I guess that is my experience, and there's not much more to say. Hope I've helped you. However, on a side note, I would be interested to hear if anyone else follows a similar pattern of abbreviated use or if anyone can tell me why people have such disparate reactions to it (I'm guessing it's just that we all have a unique body chemistry)? Thanks.
