Following Drug Bans (2C-X)

No problem :) Just be careful because it quickly gets out of hand.

Back on topic, are there any alternative bills looking to come into play soon that will ban any of these compounds? Or is this whole fiasco over? (for now)

Let me restate whats going on: Rand Paul is opposing Amy Klobuchar's bills and has been for 3 months. He finally received a good amount of attention and the DEA came to his house to try to get him to lift the block. Klobuchar is begging him to as well, but he doesn't want to push prohibition even further, and put more people in jail, and as far as he can, he's trying to stop this bill and all discussion of it.

He said something somewhat funny and weird: Prison leads to "islamic fundamentals". And while thats a pretty wild viewpoint, as long as he's blocking this ban, I don't care about his personal views on religion.

Nothing good would come out of it, just more dangerous analogs. Also, 41 substances will be unable to be researched for a long, long time and thats his main concern, as well as the unneccesary prison sentences.

The thing someone mentioned with credit cards has nothing to do with the law. I know who you're talking about. Anyway, the reason that certain products aren't allowed through CC is because the CC providers like Austpay, Alertpay, Moneybookers, etc all can get into trouble when "questionable" things are sold through their portals. This is usually stuff like child porn, but research chemicals have become more of a concern for these companies.

EDIT: The Islam thing takes away from credibility, though, and thats sad. Why do you have to be prejudiced when trying to stop prohibition... or maybe he's playing on America's fear of islam. *shrug*. I know its a stretch. Lol.

EITHER WAY! I'm right behind Rand. I really hope some of you BL users are too :)

I wrote a letter to him about it, actually, and I urge all of you who care enough to do the same and let him know that you care about your personal freedom (if you do) and if you appreciate what he's doing, let him know!

MODS: Can the topic of this thread be changed to "Following Drug Bans (2c-x)"

I feel the current title is a bit of a misnomer at this point. Also, its attracting the wrong kind of attention. This is not a thread to discuss alternative RC's openly. This is to follow the legal status of the 2c-x compounds (and the possible furthering of prohibition due to the bills that do this, 41 chems in one go. This shouldn't just be American Discussion, though, because as someone else pointed out, this could dictate drug laws worldwide))

One thing leads to another...

I just remember it used to be so easy to get 2c-i or 2c-e from legitimate vendors based in the U.S.

Now you either have to use the sketchiest website or use the deep web

Since we're on the topic of the government banning RCs, I thought MXE would also be relevant, since it's probably one of the top 3 RCs out there right now (at least on these forums)

Rand Paul WOOT! give the prohibitionist assholes a taste of their own medicine, right? and whats this about JWH-018 becoming legal again? I thought they passed official federal legislation making it schedule 1, not just the temporary DEA emergency scheduling?

LOL at his Islam comment, maybe he was making some kind of backwards reference to how many middle eastern people we put in prison. I haven't even gotten to try a 2C-X yet, so I am not wanting these to go illegal. shit, I haven't even gotten to knowingly try JWH-018. I've had plenty of methylone though, always misrepresented as MDMA of course.

why is 2c-h listed on the ban? 2c-h is not active so how could it possibly be scheduled as a drug of abuse? if anything it should be list 1, not schedule 1. yet they are making it schedule 1. how does an inactive drug get scheduled, makes no sense at all....

2c-h i think i read they said they use that to make 2c-b -- and 2c-i is scheduled in PA only in the USA apparently according to wikipedia - not sure how accurate that is or why only one state would have it that way.

maybe it can be used as a precursor?

idk im too lazy to look it up.

yeah 2c-h is a precursor, therefore it should be a list chemical, not a scheduled drug, it's inactive yet it's being scheduled as a drug of abuse. makes no sense.

I was surprised to find, upon looking up the actual legislation, that almost every 2C-X and 4-substituted tryptamine is illegal in my state. Neither erowid nor wikipedia mention this. I'm not about to correct them, though, or vendors might start refusing to ship to my state :P

PA already has a number of the 2c-x chems scheduled. I know for a fact because my 250mg of 2c-t-2 got taken by customs D:

^PA has everything banned. Even MDAI I think. Lol. State laws dont really mean much when it comes to this stuff, but 4-subs? what state banned the 4subs if you dont mind elaborating (you only said "my state")

I thought customs could only confiscate from country to country? Maybe Im not up to my USPS knowledge. Maybe the post office could, by some horrible twist of fate (or by the vendor using SHITTY ass shipping) see the contents of the package. I.e. the envelope rips open
